We are hard core non-planners. I hate having a schedule while on vacation. Our most recent trip was 13 nights and I had 2 dessert parties and one ADR planned that couldn’t be missed and just those three pre-booked events drove us completely insane.
I did make FPs based on where I thought we’d be on a given day (as I always do) but we missed or cancelled 75% of them day of. In fact I think the only pre-planned FPs we actually made it to were for FOP. The rest were made at the resort standing in line for the bus in the morning and throughout the day. Quite often we leave our room expecting to get on XX bus and instead get on bus YY. Maybe the line for the bus to park XX was too long, maybe the bus to park YY was just arriving, or maybe we were craving a giant cinnamon bun from Gaston’s Tavern for breakfast.
Having plans and schedules is for real life IMO - it’s what works for us. You will not starve and you will get on/see many attractions. It can be done. It’s the only way we tour.
