it seems they have forgotten how to communicate. They are doing repairs and the monorails are not running all the time. We are staying at BLT and were aware of this, but still had major problems! The other day we waited for a bus to go to Hollywood studios. A cast member comes over and tells us to take the monorail to TTC because the buses were blocked by the marathon traffic. We get to the TTC and ask where the bus to HSA is.....only to be told there was no bus to HS and we need to head back to the resort.

On the way to the resort monorail we decide to verify that we had to head back to the contemporary. Surprise! That's not right. We need to turn around and find a bus. So we do, and end up waiting 20 minutes there for the bus to HS......Where we find out we should've never been told to do anything different. Time from Contemporary to HS...1 hr. And 50 minutes.

The next day we want to got to Epcot. We ask the monorail attendant, and he tells us to get off at TTC and take a bus, and on the way home the monorails will all be working so we can transfer to the resort monorail for the trip back. As we're leaving, we decide to verify this. There's a sign out with directions to take buses for poly and GF, but contemporary is good to go. We ask if this is correct and are told it is. So we get on the monorail to the TTC. Before we get off we verify the other monorail is running. Yes, it is.

When we get to the resort monorail, though, there's a sign that says to wait for an attendant. Ok.....
The guy leisurely strolls down from his perch (seriously taking 5 minutes to do this) and tells us we need to take the bus.

Sigh. So we head to the busses, where we wait for a good half hour. I said something to the worker about they should've just had a bus from Epcot to the monorail resorts, AND SHE SAYS THEY DO! Ugh..
We are the last stop on this bus's loop, and it took well over an hour on the bus because the GF was so backed up with buses that we sat there forever. The people across from us had eaten at Cali grill and were told they had to take a bus back......it took them 2 hours to get from the contemporary to grand floridian.

So yesterday is magic kingdom day. Easy, right? We can walk! But oh no, the kids want to take the monorail back. So we ask one of the well-informed monorail workers. Take the resort monorail! He says. Halfway there we notice a sign saying to take the Other monorail for contemporary. Upon asking we are told that's te one we need. We get to the top of the ramp and find out that it's their last one doing this run, and there's quite a line. Thank God for small favors......we made it on this one.

so, just know that this monorail work is causing big travel issues. They're doing it again next week, too but I'm not sure of the exact dates.
