Going in October..too early to plan?

Awesome... thanks to all!! as it gets closer, guess we should think about a Dis meet. Where are you all staying? We are hoping to get POP. My mom is a Hilton Employee so when we went in Sept last year, we stayed at the dbletree and spent the same for 5 nights that we were going to spend on 3 at CSR. Trying to tell myself it is so worth the extra money to stay on proerty for the bus system. We spent too much time traveling btwn hotel and parks b/c we had to make multiple stops btwn all the other DTD hotels.

Definitely worth it to my family. We had to learn the hard way on our first trip. It makes it so easy to go back to the resort for an afternoon break, and you can do the DDP!

No I plan for trips I haven't even made yet. That's all part of the fun... anticipation.

i am going in late Nov/early december and i already know which restaurants i want to go to i just need a calender dates so i can figure out which parks to go to when

Oh honey, it's never too early to plan! I already have a tentative trip for Oct. planned out and we haven't even booked it yet! Yup, it's never too early to plan. That's like asking if you can have too many character meals! Have fun!

I start the day I decide I might go!

I am going 08-27 - 09-05 and I started planning in 02-03, the day after I got back from my last trip.

We're going September 27-30 to celebrate our DD's 4th birthday which is October 2nd . We booked POP on January 7th. Our arrival day will be spent at DHS, day 2 will be spent at MK and day 3 will be spent at Epcot. It was pretty easy to plan what parks to visit, though. We want to take DD to BBB to get her hair done and since we want a 8AM ressie, it would have to be the 2nd day we're there. Also, we know we want to eat breakfast at Akershus so that only leaves our 3rd day as the only possibility. So, DHS just happens to be the park we'll go to our first day there. We won't be going to AK.

If you are going Oct 21, your 180 day mark is April 24th:

I just booked for October, and I spent half the morning printing out menus... My fammily doesn't even know we are going, and that's mainly because I drive DH crazy with the planning

My favorite thing now? Helping other first time visitors plan their vacations! Thanks to this board, we had an amazing time in December, and I can't wait to splurge and go back in October. Totally worth the extra time at work to spen 10 days of undivided time with my family

I have all our plans decided for both a parents only October trip and a family trip in December ... but we've had a (happy surprise but too early to discuss) little wrench thrown into the works so now working on August trip and behind there - adrs are booking fast!
