Last year, we went to WDW in May and it was great! The only time we waited for a ride was IASW which was about 10 minutes. We actually walked onto BTMRR 5 times, HM twice, Splash Mountain twice, and Space Mountain twice.

Okay, so now I'm spoiled. Do you think we'll be as lucky this time? I'm considering subscribing/buying/whatever into Tour Guide Mike's site so everthing will be as smooth.

What do y'all think? Is there anything the first week of May that would/could attract larger crowds than last year?

Someone tell me that I've been before and it won't matter if I can't ride something more than once.:teeth:

We went last year May (the 1st week also) and it was great. I love the F&G festivel at Epcot too.

We are considering gong again this May, but we are thinking about just 2 days in the parks, one at BB and then the rest of the week at Vero Beach.

Our 2 park days would be May 5th and 6th and they are grad weekends. That can increase the volume some, and MK closes early those days. However last year was the start of the 50th and Grad weekends, and it still was all good. :goodvibes

You're right. It was great last year. I just need to go with the flow, I guess. Can you tell I'm a "planner"?:teeth:

I am also going the first week in May :Pinkbounc and I know that in
addition to Grad nights there is also a High School Choral Compotition. :rolleyes1 I figure regardless of what's going on it
can't be any worse then New Years Eve!

We went later in May last year (May 19 - 26) and our trip was also blessed with low crowds except at MGM because of Star Wars Week-end. I saw the latest crowd predictors for that time period this year and it looks like they are saying the crowds are up. Sure hope not we are planning to go sometime between the 21st and 27. I have not made any hard plans yet, and it is killing me. I'm holding out for a Ready Set Go auction for a condo. Nothing has showed up yet but my fingers are crossed. :tink: I need some pixie dust.
