Following recommendations on these boards, we had a breakfast at Chef Mickey's last year on a Thursday at around 9.30am on a non-park day and also a meal at Hollywood and Vine in MGM on a Thursday.
Both were fantastic and we will be trying more resturants this time.
You can also get good info on meals at Allears.
As far as the weather goes, it will be wet. It will rain almost every day. Go to
walmart and buy some rain poncho's. June is one of the wettest months according to simon's book.
If it rains early in the day, and it did last year, then go to universal. There are lots of rides that are inside. We did this and there were no queues. AK is bad on a wet day.
On the days when it doesn't rain early, it will be very hot and humid. It's like having a hot hairdrier blowing in your face. You will be running from air conditioned building to another. Thank goodness for air con. Drink plenty.
take a spare pair of trainers, so your others can dry out. We were stood in a queue for Mickey's autograph when the heavens opened, and the water was running down the back of our legs into our trainers!!! Saying that though, the rain and temperature is very warm.
Despite a lot of rain on last visit, we had a great time.
We're going in October this year and hoping for less rain and more sun.
