We've previously stayed at the GF and CR with the kids, and DH and I Disneymooned at the Poly. We are completely torn as which one to choose this time. My kids love the monorail, and I know we'd be able to see it from all 3 views. The CS at the CR will be closed with a temp location during our trip. So which resort to choose and why?

Hi Denise,

I would vote for the GF, I'd love to stay there one day!

Hope all is well with you and the family.

Denise,
You know I will always recommend the Contemporary, however if a counter service location with the mugs is that important to you then I would go with the Polynesian because that is where my family and I are staying there this December and when we walked around there to find the Hawaii Longhouse, I thought the grounds looked amaizing. I also thought the Volcano pool looked very cool, so I am sure you're kids would like it.

With kids, my personal prerefence is for the Polynesian. The grounds are amazing and it's great to be able to swim in the volcano pool with Cinderella's Castle in the background. You feel like you're at Disney yet somewhere else magical all at the same time. :cloud9: Captain Cooks is a counter service eatery with lots of options and is very close to the volcano pool.

My second choice would be the Contemporary. Very slick and very cool.

Third choice would be the GF. As Grand and lovely as it is the place reminds me of a giant 'doily'. :lmao:
