I am so excited. I am going the first week of Dec. for a conference and will get to visit not only California-a dream since I was a little girl, but Disneyland. I am sure I will have many questions in the coming months but the burning 2 are---do the do PS 90 days out like WDW and do they have MVMCP? Thanks so much, I am so excited!!! Can you tell, lol. :rotfl: :goodvibes :rotfl2: :flower: :sunny:

PS are 60 days out at DL and no, no Christmas party.

Thanks so much. Do they do anything special at the holidays?

The parks are decorated, as are the hotels. There's a Christmas Parade, which I hear will be in DCA this year so that Parade of Dreams can still run. Don't know if we'll be getting a holiday fireworks show or not--if so, it will be something on the scale of Remember, if not then Remember is the best fireworks show I've ever seen, so that's fine.

Small World and Haunted Mansion are specially themed for the holidays. Very cool.

PSs inside the park (such as Blue Bayou, Princess Breakfast) are only 6 weeks the last I heard. I believe the 60 days apply to the restaurants at the hotels. I don't know about DTD, but those typically aren't as hard to get as the character meals and Blue Bayou. I think the PS for the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet is 30 days.

I made priority seating arrangements today for the Blue Bayou on August 18, so they do accept them 60 days in advance, as well as DtD & the hotels.

We've heard conflicting stories about PSs within the parks from Disney Dining. Today, at least, they took them 60 days in advance. :)

Fantasmic Dessert Buffet is a reservation w/credit card, and CalGal is right - 30 days in advance.

Thank-you all so much. You have no idea how much I am looking forward to this. :teeth: I get to spend my 42nd birthday all by myself in California at Disney, yeah!!! :goodvibes I am so excited by this-I usually hate birthdays and avoid them at all costs. This will be the year I take back my birthday, lol!
