Going in August

We'll be going 8/29 - 9/3. It was booked before this new Dining Plan deal was released and we have never gone at this time. Should we be expecting crazy crowds now?

We went August 25-31 last year and there were hardly ANY crowds. Wait times for rides were like nothing. It was awesome, and we are going again this year around that time. Based on my experience, its a slow time, thats why they have the deal, and most kids areback in school by then (my daughter missed first 2 days of school for our trip)

It's a great time to go for lower crowd levels even with free dining. We found that some of the most popular attractions could have a bit of a wait but overall you can basically walk on most things (and do them multiple times!).

No, the crowds won't be "crazy" because most kids are heading off to school.
But, yes, there are still alot of visitors and it will be HOT!

I'm a AUG vacationer- I enjoy the money-saving offers ( like free dining) and I love the HOT ( pool time everyday) and any crowd size small or big won't get me down at Disney!! HAVE FUN

You know.. I hesistate to say. They've offered so many promotions for that time now, that it could be busier than we experienced last year. That being said, last year was really pleasant. Low crowds .. but very hot. As long as you were prepared for the heat and took it easy, it was a great time to go.
I could see moderate crowds (5's, 6's) on some days.. but it won't be crazy busy. It got busier as Labor Day weekend approached.

This year we'll be there from Aug 22 to Sept 4th. I am expecting the first few days of the trip to the busiest and maybe the last 2 as well.
I don't do huge crowds.. and we had such a good time last year we're going back the same time this year. Enjoy!

We are going at that time too. We usually go the week before, but couldn't get our resort that week so decided to go the last week of August and return the day before Labor Day. We find the crowds to be manageable at the end of August. With free dining, though, I would make sure to get any dining reservations that are must-haves for you early.

We always go the end of Aug. No crazy crowds. The resterants are very busy, so make ADR's. Kids are going back to school at this time.

We have gone three different times this same time of the month with free dining and it was fine. There are a lot of schools back in session , we never really had to wait in a line.
