Going in 2 days to SSR

Hi All,

Leaving in 2 days for SSR, we have a 2 bedroom and a studio, we didn't have enough points for the grand villa. At check in is there any chance of them upgrading us to a grand villa? that would make a very magical start to our trip to the world. Anyones thoughts are a ppreciated?

Chances of an upgrade are very slim to none.

DVC doesn't upgrade point reservations unless there is some type of problem - one that makes what was reserved unavailable for some reason. For example, if the resort is fully booked and a unit has some type of maintenance problem that takes it out of service.

Occasionally, you will hear of a CRO/WDWTC cash customer getting upgraded, but even those are rare.

We just got back from SSR. We had a grand villa and also a 2 bedroom villa. If you can swing it ever...... get the grand villa!!! It is beyond beautiful!!! We brought my retired parents with us, as a treat. My mom walked into the grand villa and started to cry! She told me.... I don't know what we did to deserve this all, but thank you. This is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I gave the master suite to my parents. My mom has had hip replacement surgery a few years ago and I thought it would be easier for them to be on the main level instead of having to climb the steps. They also get up earlier than us, so this way they were able to make coffee etc, without waking anyone else up. The rooms at SSR are very soundproof The beds are incredible too.
Had a wonderful time and can't wait to return
