Real quick before I post a *full* trip report. I have been reading this great website for a few years but never posted. I am not new to Disney. This is our 20 something trip but we have not been here in two years. The trip was from Oct 10-14. We booked after the Columbus day crowd was here. I have been here a handful of times in Oct and always go to the MNSSHP. It is just me and my husband. What happened to Oct this year? The crowds were almost summer level, hoardes of Brazilian teen groups are here right now. Weds we spent all day at MK and I have never, ever seen so many people here at this time of year. Yes I know about the free dining. I was not expecting the huge groups from Brazil. Most rides had 60-90 min waits. Even though we had ADRs and Fast Pass it was MISERABLE and the crowds were rude/pushing/cutting in lines ect. I tried to plan our days by not attending extra magic hours, going early mornings ect. I am wondering did I MISS the memo that it was going to be so packed?? We usually go in May or first week of Nov and Dec and sometimes early October. I hate to say it but I can't wait to leave in the morning!!! Is this the new Oct. Disney?? Best of luck to
anyone coming this week!!

I put a free wait time app on my Iphone about a month ago and I check it each day just to see how the wait times fluctuate. The times had been good until yesterday when I saw the kind of wait times that you mentioned. I was really surprised and wondered what was going on.
