Going for cystoscopy and pyleogram on Friday

This is to check out why I have blood in my urine (not visible, found in urinalysis). My dad had kidney cancer so dr. definitely wants to be thorough, but he said there is a good chance there will be no reason at all found. I'll be out for the procedure, thankfully.

i also have blood in my urine that shows up on a dipstick test but not with microscopic examination. i've had this condition off and on for years, and no one can explain it. i've had two cystoscopies and various ultrasounds, ct scans and x-rays with contrast, and nothing abnormal is ever found. i tell you all this so that you know you're not alone and that it is likely that you're perfectly fine. my urologist says this is more common than one would think, and he's seen it many times. good luck with your tests
