about restaurants that is ;) Could I get some comments/ advice on what I have come up with so far? The people going are myself (30), HD (34), DS11, DD9, and DD3. There will be some days that it is girls only as the guys are heading to Universal Studios for a few days! My DD3 will be sharing with DS11 at 2 restaurants because he can never finish an adult meal yet. We are going Sept. 15-29 and DS11 is paying our way! We were taking a year off but he decided he didn't want to and started saving. I have thrown in a bit here and there but he is at $1300 so far! So I want to make this one of his best trips ever! Enough of that ....here is what we have so far!

TS
Le Cellier Steakhouse
Whispering Canyon
Mama Melrose (fantasmic package)
Ohana breakfast
Garden Grill dinner
50's Primetime Cafe
SciFi
Crystal Palace (not sure which)
Tony's Town Square
Coral Reef (not sure on this one) or The Wave (favoring the wave)
Teppan Edo
Chef Mickey (not sure which)
Kona dinner???? we usually do Ohana dinner but I would like a change!

Girls only:
1900 Park Fare dinner
Akershus breakfast
Cape May Cafe breakfast

I still need one more....we were debating Ohana dinner again but would like to try something new....we are not super adventurous eaters.

Good for your DS! I would definitely say to go to Coral Reef over the Wave if you aren't really adventurous eaters. We loved both but the Wave was more 'fussy food'. DS was 12 last year & LOVED Coral Reef. We were lucky to get a tankside table are always brining up the stingray that seemed to be eating dinner with us!

You have definitely hit most of DS's favs with Le Cellier, 50's PT and Sci Fi. We also enjoy the Biergarten and there does seem to be something for everyone on the buffet. We have gone every trip with DS (he was 8 the first time and a much pickier eater than he is now!)

do the chef mickey for breasfast more fun.
how about rose and crown in ecpot sometimes at night the will sit you outside and you can see the fireworks.

Our favorite places that you do not have down are Jiko, Flying Fish, Fultons Crab House, Beirgarten, Tutto Italia and Grand Floridian Cafe.

Le Cellier Steakhouse - awesome, just ate there last weekend and it was fanstastic

Mama Melrose (fantasmic package) - had dinner there a few years ago and it was just eh but we went to lunch there in June and it was very good

Ohana breakfast - ate here in August and we loved it, the best pineapple and cinnamon bread!

50's Primetime Cafe - the most incredible fried chicken ever

SciFi - just ate lunch here last week for the first time and we LOVED it! Great atmostphere and the food was really good!

Crystal Palace (not sure which) - love both dinner and breakfast....just did breakfast in January and it was sooo good, plus you can get into the park early!

Tony's Town Square - we had lunch here in Oct and loved it so much we just went back last weekend for dinner...it was incredible and we are going back there in June!

Coral Reef (not sure on this one) or The Wave - We did Coral Reef in January and no one but me liked it....we did the Wave last weekend and OMIGOD it was to die for!

Teppan Edo - we have been here a few times but many years ago as we have better locally

Chef Mickey (not sure which) - did dinner once and it was terrible...did breakfast last weekend and it was fantastic, we loved it so much we are going back in June

1900 Park Fare dinner - absolutely horrible, the food was gross but the characters were awesome

Akershus breakfast - did this twice, the last time in January and it was so much fun and the food was very good....you can special order pancakes too

Cape May Cafe breakfast - one of our favorites, great food and character fun

Why not try a show Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or
Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Spirit of Aloha (Polynesian Luau) Dinner Show

I know the kids would like Coral Reef I just keep seeing such great reviews for the Wave

Rose and Crown does look yummy but DH doesn't like the countries in Epcot....shocking I know but I may be able to get him to change his mind!

How about Biergaraten or Rose and Crown at Epcot? Or Yak & Yeti at the Animal Kingdom?

Yak and Yeti looks delish but gets such mixed reviews!

I have read all of your reviews...lol! I too do not like the food at 1900 park Fare but the time with the characters is priceless....my DS3 danced w/ Cinderella and Prince Charmin (as she calls him) was so sweet ! Anastasia hollered at me while I was at the buffet because she was ready for a picture and every single character came back when they saw that my daughter (who they nicknamed Sleeping Beauty ) awoke!

We did Mickey's Backyard BBQ last year .....we may do the Luau w/ just girls....great idea!
