We are lucky enough to be going during the trial period of the evening extra hours

On the Tuesday, we have KNO coming in to watch the 2 DS's and we were planning to go to MK to enjoy Spectro (DW has not seen Spectro before) and on the Saturday we have KNO in again and were planning to go to MGM and take in Fantasmic (Neither DW nor myself have seen Fantasmic before)

Along comes the Disney curve ball :p of the extra evening hours

So now I am thinking maybe go to MGM on Tuesday to enjoy the extra 3 hours, skip fantasmic and go to MK on the Saturday for Spectro

Pros:
Enjoy the extra evening hours benefit while we can in case the trial is not continued into production

Cons:
MK is crowded on Saturday's so it may be (will be?) a mob scene for the Spectro that evening

We miss Fantasmic (however, we know we can see it next time we travel in 2005)

thoughts/opinions?

thanks

Is there a Fantasmic that Tuesday night? You didn't say which Tuesday, but if so, maybe you can see Fantasmic and still go on rides during the MGM night EMH and then still see Spectro on Saturday. I love Fantasmic and it's my fiancé's favorite show (in fact, we sat in the rain for over an hour in Feb 2003 and then right as it was supposed to start they cancelled it because the rain got worse--my fiancé was devastated since it was our last night. Little did he know that there was a blizzard in DC and we actually had to stay in WDW another 3 nights so he got to see it anyway.) We see it every trip so I would definitely suggest you see it. Not sure how old your kids are, but they'd enjoy it too so if you want to keep your Tuesday night just for rides that you can't go on with the kids then maybe you can see Fantasmic another night with them.

I am pretty sure that Fantasmic is shown EVERY night, sometimes twice (during the busier times)...not a show you want to miss!

I'd do MGM on Tuesday. I'm assumimg you're going to MK another day and can catch Wishes from Main Street at that time. On Saturday, if you've already seen Wishes from Main Street, then you can get a different spot for watching Spectro and not worry about being in the best Wishes location. Even on a Saturday it shouldn't be too bad finding a spot around Frontierland or Liberty Square for Spectro.

Do the kids not want to see Spectro or Fantasmic? Myabe they're too young??

I like the answers given already. But to add one more question I've been thinking about. Saturday at MK is busy, OK. But Tue is the only other day for Spectro. Woulnd't Tue be just as busy as Sat?

The kids are staying back at the resort with KNO (kids nite out) taking care of them so it is DW and me only :sunny:

I have always heard that Sat is busier than Tue at MK

In essence, MGM is open until 12am that Tue as it is the park with the extra hours benefit for on site guests and MK is open unitl 1am that Sat for the same reason

Not sure what to do....

thanks
