Going crazy! What can I do????

Here's the deal. We leave a week from tomorrow (thursday). I want to pack and get things all together. The problem is, the kids don't know we are going! It's a suprise trip. We are just heading straight down after the science fair. Everything will already be in the car. I threw them off already about suitcases because they think Grandma and Grandpa are going on a cruise. Grandma is calling me at the last minute in a panic because she doesn't have enough suitcases. So that's what they'll think when we leave that night is we are bringing them to her.

Anyways...I want to start packing and getting everything in order, but how without raising suspicion?
I am sooo anxious to go and not being able to do anything is driving me absolutly batty.
What kind of things do you think I could do on the sly?
Please please help........

Also, what are the little things I am forgetting? LOL

to pack.....and do it......with the way our weather is going we are going to be cold again in a few hours........we would pack a few things and then put the suitcases back in the closet.......make a list and keep it handy and check off when you pack it.....if it is going to be wicked hot in Disney.......go to Walmart and get some of those water fans....they are way cheaper then the ones in Disney......do everything when they are out playing ..school....or sleeping.....HOpe you have a great time......oh yah.....washing and ironing the clothes even if the kids see it.......you can say you are getting stuff ready for summer.......

items that you may use....put them in zip lock baggies and bring with you .......even bandaids in florida are expensive......bring those ....I had enough meds to open my own discount store......

The ones that are going on this trip are DS 16, DS 13, DS 11.
The 16 year old knows about the trip because he is singing in Epcot. It's the two younger ones who don't have a clue! They don't even know he is singing! LOL
I can't wait to see their faces!

They are going to be estatic! I would Love to see the look on their faces. Great Job! They're all boys, they could care less what your doing.

If they ask whats that? Oh I had some spare time to do some ironing. Put them in a pile in the closet and when their not around stuff them in the suitcases!

You could go through and gather all of the stuff they won't think to look for (beach towels, sunscreen, travel size toiletries, fanny packs, camera, film, video camera, batteries, guidebooks, etc.) and start packing all of those. Start a detailed packing list of everything you will need and check off as you go so remember what you have already done.

I'm just sitting here laughing.....if I used that excuse with my kids, they would once again say "What's that??" I don't think they've ever seen me iron a thing....no, wait....I ironed some patches on to my son's scouting shirt once. LOL

I surprised my boys with a trip over February vaca....they had no clue. You'll be mostly packing stuff they won't need right now, as others have pointed out. Good luck and have fun!!!!

The 16 year old knows about the trip because he is singing in Epcot.

Where and when? I'll be there a week from Saturday and would like to see him.

The school choir (Concord high school) is performing Monday the 28th at Epcot. They are doing selections from Phantom of the opera. The orchestra is also performing. I don't have a time yet, but will be able to find out a few days before hand so I will post it. Also, on Sunday the 27th the high school band is leading the afternoon parade in the Magic Kingdom. They are such a talented group of kids!!
I just can't wait to see him sing his solo! It's not a big one, but it's still a solo! LOL
I'll be the one in the crowd with the biggest smile on my face!
