Going Blank -- Question on Passes

If I'm not staying with my guests, can they still get the DVC discount on the UMP?

We have had this situation and were informed the following. If you have a group staying in different rooms on points and the member is actually staying in one of them, you can get the length of stay passes using the 10% discount for guests in the other rooms. If the member is not staying at the resort, the guests cannot use the discount.

Thanks. I don't think they are going to buy those passes anyway but I didn't want to tell them could get a discount and they can't.
