going bananas making ADRs; advice pelase?

Well I am determined to have most (if not all) of our ADRs done today (we arrive on Jan 3). Disney is not making it easy w/o publishing times for parades and fireworks displays! However, the CM at the dining reservations center does have them and will happily share them. I guess I will take what information I can get though!

If someone could please share their wisdom....we are due to arrive at 2:25 PM and have reservations at Chef Mickey for 5:40 PM. The CM that helped me w/the reservations said that should be enough time...your thoughts???? Parades for that day at MK will be at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM...how long do they usually last?

I know exactly how you feel. I also scheduled my ADRs around the unpublished times of shows and parades. A great help was the schedule of the shows and parades in years past. I believe that you can find those times on the DIS and there are probably other DIS members who can help you.

When you get into the website, look for the calendar. It will come up with the current month. You just change it to the month you want, then the park you want. EMH are noted on each day there is one. Click on that and it takes you to the EMH site.

Marimar, sorry, I should have looked for you. Right at the top of this page, click 'park hours' and then the parade times on the chart. Hope it all fits in with your plans. My brain was really frying trying to fit ADR's into plans or vice versa or trying to decide whether to go to EMH or not and therefore eat elsewhere that night. I wonder if Disney know the amount of stress they put us through!

I felt the same way. I did schedule our meals by using last years hours, but when the calendar was updated for January I made a few changes in order to view Wishes from the CT. Good Luck!

here's how to find the times for parades, fireworks on the offical Disney site ..

you click calender .. then your month .. when the month comes up, you can click on the date ..on the number itself .. to see the schedule. A window will pop up with that day's info. You have to click each day for each park for your entire visit. Not the best system, IMHO.

The listing here is much easier to get the info you need faster. Thanks Dis!

I NEVER would have figured this out! Another DIS'er had the schedule and was kind enough to email it to me when Disney started to post info earlier that the 60 day mark.
