I'll second that - except the Moms stay with the kids and the Dads go to the park!!!

We've hit a park on our "going home" day each trip - but we've also had a bit more time before catching the ME ... But if you're all packed and ready to go, and there's a morning EMH available - go for it!! - even if it's just to walk around and hit a few stores ...

Just remember to give yourself about an hour to get back to POR ...

Very funny.....not even an option! LOL!!

Sorry to hear about all the meltdowns in AK. Epcot is where I have similiar experiences. Except, Landon is always fine and the adults get rather snippy. Haha. We'll leave it at that.

We have a "travel bin" that we keep all that kind of stuff in - it's awesome. I even keep our swimsuits in there! LOVE the shoe organizer idea!!! That is so, so smart! I use one here at home for cleaning supplies, garbage bags, etc. but never thought to bring one to Disney. I just might have to pick on up sometime.

I really like those ID Shoes tags too - where did you find them? We are going to get Henry a necklace from one of those kiosks in Disney, but I think these tags will be great for when he's wearing tennis shoes. Super cute Mickey jammies too!!!

As for the airport, you might be cutting it a bit close. It's always nicer to know you have plenty of time than to feel rushed at all. Plus with kids it always seems to take longer than it should, doesn't it?

If you do a search online for Who's Shoe ID, you'll find them, I'm pretty sure they come in a two pack, if my memory serves me correctly. I never heard about the necklaces at Disney, tell me more!

I think you're right...thinking I'll need to pick up Ethan at school at 3, when he gets out and head to Boston. I don't want to be stressed, in case we run into traffic, or whatever. You're so right. And yes...it SO does take longer with kids! THAT is an understatement!!

Just a quick life update...It's kind of Disney related....Ethan and I are going to see the Jonas Brothers tonight in concert. His 1st concert, he's SO excited! We are going with his two friends, Michael and Tyler, he's been friends with them since preschool andtheir Moms. I feel like it's such a big kid thing to do! It will be nice to have that one on one time with him.

You can buy them from machines in various stores...I remember seeing one at the Space Mountain dump shop, and a few others. So, it would be a necklace - I like the ID tags better, they can't take them off as easily! But, they wouldn't work on sandals, right?

Oh neat, i've never seen them before! The tags work on sneakers only through the laces, our boys wear those at the parks and crocs (which poses a problem, although you can strap them to the back?). I've heard about tattoos you can get, too, ever heard of that before?

No, I've never heard of the tattoos! Interesting! I have got to get something, Henry loves to walk now and NOT be in his stroller...and you well know how a 3 year old walks... He's all over the place!

I know I've read at least one TR too where they said they took a picture of their children before they left the room every single day - just in case they got separated they could show what they were wearing, what they looked like, etc. It was a neat pic for the TR too!

I remember hearing about the tattoos on one of the podcasts. You can put it under the child's shirt sleeve so it's not easily visible, but the child can show it to a CM if he/she becomes lost. It basically has the parents' names and cell phone numbers. Pretty cool!
