Going back to WDW for Liam's 9th Birthday! 5/29-6/3 WE ARE BACK!!!

There is a area near the front of the store (by one of the front doors), there you will find a whole bunch of diffrent stuff for a buck. There are somethings that might be a bit more (highest I have seen is $2.50) and there always seems to be some Disney Princess stuff. I have found some cute kids Disney socks there.

Oh... I've been in that area before! I don't think I've ever seen anything Disney though ... usually Sesame Street is the only licensed character there.

Well, I did get DD some Jonas socks once ... and DS some Mater socks ... but that was a couple years ago. Maybe our Dollar Spot is dumb? I didn't know it had a name though. Thanks!

So I was catching up on some PTR's this morning when my DD started looking through my Birnbaum book and announcing what attractions she wanted to do and which she didn't. I think I have created a monster.

I have been very clear with her that our trip will not be until 2013 and add some special magic by explaining about the Fantasyland expansion to her (she is very excited.)

I couldn't help myself, I brought her with me on a short ride to BK to pick up lunch and we started talking about our trip. Here are just a few of our ideas. We are hoping to rent DVC points and stay at BLT, but that might change the closer we get if we get any great pins. We are talking about doing at least 7 days and 6 nights with maybe a free day to spend at a pool, DTD, of WP. We diffinatly want to do each of the parks but might get PHs so we can split a day between MK and Epcot. We are also planning to do DDP for our trip and are talking about all the great ADR's we are going to make. Thinking about Boma, Tusker House, Crystal Palace, and 1900. Getting hungry just thinking about it.

This is just a tast of our plans, will start an offical PTR after I am done with our TR for this trip. Hopefully this will help prevent the post Disney depression.

I love the top you bought for yourself...it's so cute and not a "typical" character shirt. Great find! Your countdown calender is great, as well. It's such a neat idea to use the paint chips. I think it's so funny that your son has such a strong dislike for the princesses...haha, such a boy! Can't wait to hear more about your daughter's trip. I guess it's never too early to plan, right? My brother jokingly asked me if we were going to go to Disneyland for my graduate school graduation in two/three years. I said "no, we can go back to Disney World to see the new Fantasyland and Animation resort". So, the wheels are in motion for another trip Fingers crossed...

I will probably let this PTR turn into a TR and the last post will be have a link to the new PTR. I think that trying to do two at one time will be just to confusing for me to keep track off. Maybe by then I will figure out how to do a table of contents.

OK, I think I am going completly mad, or I have caught ADR fever here from the boards.

When I first started planning the idea was to do one TS for Liam's birthday. Well, than I had to do the Fantasmic! Dinning package, and than I had to reservations for T-Rex so than I started to think that the amount I was spending OOP was about how much an upgrade to the DDP would be so I started thinking. . .(just think of winnie the pooh poking at his head saying Think. . .Think. . .Think. . .)

After much deliberating I think I am going to go for it. I am going to have call tomarrow morning to change my reservation, so hopefull I did the math right and have no problem with it.

But tomarrow is so far away. I know some TS's are hard to get and here I am less than 60 days away. I figured I better figure it out first, make reservations, and if it doesn't work I'll just have to cancel them right?

Well here we go:
Sun, May 29- Have light lunch at Pop (pay OOP), Boma for dinner at 5:20
Mon, May 30- Sunshine Seasons for lunch, Via Napoli for dinner at 7pm
Tues, May 31-Mama Melrose for lunch, Pizza Planet for dinner
Wed, June 1-Pecos Bill for lunch, The Crystal Palace for dinner at 6:50
Thurs, June 2- Flame Tree BBQ for lunch, T-Rex for dinner at 7pm (OOP)
Fri, June 3- 50's Prime Time Cafe for Lunch, prob Pop for dinner before ME

What do all think? Boma, Via Napoli, and Crystal Palace are what I added. I know my son doesn't want to do a character meal, but he loves Pooh and I think he will enjoy it. I am definatly going to keep this one a surprise.

Wish me luck tomarrow upgrading the DP (goodness look at the time) I mean wish me luck today.

I am happy to announce that after being on the phone for about 20 minutes (it took a little longer because of my promo code was older) I have officially changed our dinning plan from QSDP to DDP. At first I was a bit worried (but not to much because it was only $5) that I had did the math wrong and the Plan was going to be more than I thought. It actually came out to be $5 cheaper.

I am so excited. CP here we come!!!!

After looking at some revues I decided to change Via Napoli to Coral Reef for lunch. We are already eating at Mama Melrose and Pizza Planet so I decided another italian resturaunte was not needed. I am also looking foward to Coral Reef's fish tanks and hoping we get some good food. Revues there seem to vary.

With Boma, did you plan to leave the park and then go back after...or go there first? Just wondering what your plan was...

We are planning on hanging out at the resort for awhile (swimming in the pool) and than head over to Boma. We will than head over to MK. Should be just in time to start staking out a a place for the parade. If it is to early we might take a trip on the WDWRR first.

I loved their food! Hopefully she'll be able to go sometime at AK or DTD. I was just looking at the pics in Birnbaum book and saw pics of Maccaws. Ours used to have Maccaws but they stopped that years ago. I actually had a friend who did the shows there. Oh well if I want to see birds I'll just go to my moms. She shas over 11. So I figure 2011- Liam, 2013- Mia, 2015- Aidan, 2017- family trip, and 2019- Rylan. I had already booked the trip when I learned about SWW. And when I was researching this trip I learned about the expansion. Like I said fate. As far as this trip, woo hoo for upgrading to DDP and getting all of those great ADRs! That was one of the things I was thinking of when I booked Boma. Zebra Domes. Alright, it wasn't the main thing I was think about, but it sure didn't hurt. I am so glad to have changed to the DP. Now I don't have to wait till 2013 to try some of the resteraunts I have been hearing about.

So I wanted to acdcomplish a few things with this update
so please bare with me.

First of all I wanted to post a picture of our Countdown Calander.

Liam helped me glue all the paint chips on and is very proud of it
We are putting Disney stickers on it so we don't have any blank spots
I actually missed a date,
But if I don't tell know one will notice

Second I wanted to share some more pics of some more things I bought

I bought these at the dollar spot at Target.
I know not all are Disney
But I couldn't get Mia one and not the boys
The Pens are mine
I am going to put these in there Easter baskets.

I bought these at the Disney Store for $5 each
I couldn't pass up that price.
The mickey one is for Aidan
The Tangled one is for Mia
and the Perry one is for Liam
Unfortunatly that didn't have any in Rylan's size
I am also going to put these in their Easter baskets

This last disney purchase is for me
I just love this shirt
Not to mention that it is the Dis color
It has a Mickey in the center
And it was marked down from $32 to $10

Love the purchases! I really need to get over to the Disney outlet. I ended up using my coupon for stuff for the kids for Easter.

Great idea to upgrade to the DDP, we did too for this trip. It's totally worth the money to upgrade if your going to be doing some TS restaurants. I'm sure Liam will enjoy Crystal Palace, my kids love it, even my 15 year old!
