Going back sooner than we thought

Well, we just returned from Disney on March 8th...we were due to return home on the 7th but our departing plane was delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight. We had to stay in Orlando another night after waiting in the airport over 4 hours. This is not as fun as it sounds considering we didn't get to a hotel until 9pm! LOL

Anyway, because of the inconvenience the airline has given us vouchers to fly anywhere in the US for free (we will pay the fees/tax). We also have days on our no-expiry ticket, so gee, I wonder where we will go using our free airfare? Ha!

I'm really psyched we'll be going back within the year considering we were not planning to go back for another 3 years. We missed doing a lot on this last trip (NO fireworks, NO parades except the Move It, Shake It, NO characters unless they were at our dinner, etc...) SOOOO needless to say I'm excited to start thinking about our next trip again. YAY!!

Just felt like sharing a little cheer on what is a dreary morning here in New England

Congrats to you! I'm sorry you were inconvenienced, but at least you get to plan another trip to Disney soon! When are you planning on going back?

My hubby wants to have the last trip paid off before I start planning the next LOL!! It will be within the next year, though, since that's as long as the airfare is good. YAY!!

I see you are going too--have a fun time planning--sometimes that's 1/2 the fun!!

Thanks! Yes, I'm going back for my 4th trip, but I'm thrilled to be taking the kids for their 2nd. They are going to be so excited when they find out we're going back. LOL

Planning is half the fun for me...though November seems like forever away!

Definitely!! I was GRUMPY at the time it was happening, but certainly turned into HAPPY when they told us what we were receiving for compensation! LOL We are very excited with it all.
