I'll be announcing sometime, but we just booked our trip for the summer with my little guy!

June 30th to July 10th for us. Do we overlap?

Update:

We have booked our summer trip! We're going for two weeks. The first week, my grandparents, Uncle, the little guy, and his step-bro will be with us. We're staying at the Contemporary with them because Uncle and grandparents loved it there last time they were at WDW in 2001. The day they leave, we are moving over to OKW.

Our dates: We leave home July 17, get to WDW July 19. Family leaves July 24, we move to OKW. We leave for home July 31.

So bummer, MeMom. We don't overlap.

Update:

We have booked our summer trip! We're going for two weeks. The first week, my grandparents, Uncle, the little guy, and his step-bro will be with us. We're staying at the Contemporary with them because Uncle and grandparents loved it there last time they were at WDW in 2001. The day they leave, we are moving over to OKW.

Too bad. My church camp dictated our trip this year. I really need to be back here on the 11th - the Sunday before camp - for many reasons. I'm having to get a sub for my last two days of summer school so we can go on ahead on the 30th. Otherwise, it would be a short vacation. We're flying down the 30th after I get out of school and whenever Jill and crew can get up here, and we'll get the latest flight home on the 10th.

It will be nice for you to have two whole weeks.

It is the Backlot Tour! We always make Dad sit on the left side so is the one who gets wet! Here's what the WDW website has to say about it:

"Studio Backlot Tour is a 35-minute, behind-the-scenes guided walk and tram ride showcasing the art of special effects in movies at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.

Go behind the scenes for a backstage look at how the magic of movies is made! Begin your guided tour with a short walk to a special outdoor viewing area and discover how battles and storms at sea are created with the help of water tanks and pyrotechnics. Lucky Guests chosen beforehand will get the unique opportunity to partipate in the Harbor Attack, creating battle scenes at sea.

After the brief show, embark on a jaunt through a prop warehouse where you just may notice a few familiar items made famous movies. Then, board an open-air, 200-seat tram and embark on a tour of the backlot, where lifelike sets seen in familiar television shows and movies mingle with delightful topiaries, production bungalows and vehicles used in Disney movies.
