Goin' to see the Mouse for Spring Break~just me and Fiance at POP-Update 3/20

I got it, I got it!! It's One Man's Dream !

i love this one! not enough people take the time to do it, either.

I agree. Think of all the fun we have had and will have and all the new people we've met because of his ideas.

tinkgurl, your dad couldn't have picked a better year to give you this trip. After this crazy winter, going to Disney World is going to be more awesome than ever!!!

The answer is One Man's Dream.

I can't believe you are going for 2 weeks!! That is so awesome!! And your little man is going too!! :woohoo: I just know that will be one heck of a trip!! Do you have any plans for anything like ADR's yet? Are you going to have any water park days? I'm so happy for you! 2010 is your year!! :goodvibes

Okay - I've got it, though I've never actually done it yet. My guess is: One Man's Dream...

Of course, it's One Man's Dream! I highly recommend this to everyone! And if you have some extra time, stay and watch the movie at the end. I cried. HA. Here's what the WDW website has to say about it:

"Walt Disney: One Man's Dream, in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, is a multimedia gallery attraction for Guests of all ages. Take a self-guided tour through the exhibits of photographs, audio interviews and memorabilia that tell the story of Walt Disney—the man whose life accomplishments still intrigue and inspire people the world over.

Specifically created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney's birth, Walt Disney: One Man's Dream is a trip through time that starts with his birth in 1901 in Chicago, Illinois and continues through his inventions, innovations and visions for a company that has become synonymous with magic.

Among the 400-plus artifacts that are rotated through the Walt Disney: One Man's Dream gallery are:

Audio and film clips that contain previously unseen footage and interviews with Walt Disney
Model for the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction
Models of Main Street, U.S.A. from Disneyland Resort
Planning model for Disney's California Adventure theme park
Scaled replicas of Sleeping Beauty castle in Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris Resort
Special Academy Award statues for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Walt Disney's second-grade school desk"

Learn at this attraction how characters are created and animated.

Yay I'm so happy that you're taking your little guy to WDW! How much fun will that be?

It's going to be SO much fun! I can't wait for that TR!

Walt is an amazing man.

WDW is going to be a blast! It's so great to be able to say I'm going twice this year!

It's going to be exciting! We can make our ADR's Jan. 20th. Sis and I have been planning where we want to eat. Here's a list so far:

Chef Mickey's - We are going to try to get there for our first night.
Ohana - Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch.
Donald's Safari Breakfast
Spirit of Aloha Luau - My grandparents and Uncle are STILL talking about when we did this back in 2001.
Hollywood & Vine - Breakfast with June and Leo from Little Einsteins and JoJo & Goliath.
Whispering Canyon Cafe - Supper.
Tony's - Because we have such a large group, we qualify to be a "Grand Gathering". They have a special breakfast at Tony's for this!

That's what we have so far.

Your meals sound great for the summer, tailor made for the little guy.

My guess is the Magic of Disney Animation.

I don't know how I do it but I always miss every 4th clue! LOL

THe answer is: The Magic of Disney Animation Which we have not done yet. :surfweb:

i think it's the magic of disney animation. i love this one, too! i think it gets skipped quite a bit. a shame because it's fun!

OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!!!!! I just now saw your post about getting engaged!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS SWEET GIRL!!!!!!!!!!

Oh that date is coming up fast!! I can't wait to see all the pictures! Those places sound SO GOOD. I'm very curious to hear abou Chef Mickey's for dinner. I loved it for breakfast though. Also, the next time we go, I have the Ohana Friendship Breakfast and Hollywood & Vine on my list for character breakfast!! So you're going to need to give me tons of details on those places! ;) (Not that I doubt you will...you write such great tr's!) Also, WCC...I'm 100% set on trying that since I skipped that ADR last time.

Of course, you know I love Donald's Safari Breakfast and am going to be at the luau for you next time I go!!

The special breakfast at Tony's sounds great! Is that menu on Allears? Can you get in the park before opening with that one? Will you do that if you can? With that many people, I can imagine how hard it could be getting everyone up!

Okay and I totally know your next clue but don't know the official name. I could even tell you where it is! ---> Its in the buildings over by the Playhouse Disney area. You can walk through the building and learn and see all sorts of Disney Animation stuff. This is also where the Animation Academy is! (I'm not sure if maybe even that's the specific answer you are looking for or if you want the whole building!)

Perhaps I could have half a point?

Aw thanks girl! :) It's very exciting!

Haha, of course I'll give you all the good details!

Aw I'm so glad you're doing the Luau!

About the Tony's breakfast- I'm not sure if the menu is on there or not. And, it's at a set time - 9 or 9:30 I can't remember, HA. We are definately going to try to do that one. We're doing more breakfast ADR's with the whole family because the little guy is a good morning person. :rotfl: Then we plan on going to the park for awhile, then coming back to the Contemporary and swimming while the little guy takes a nap/swims with us, then we'll go from there. But, we do have a few dinner ADR's planned as well.

Hey tinkgurl! Somehow I missed your PTR, up 'til now anyway. I obviously missed a lot, but oh well, signing on now. I think the answer to your last clue is The Magic of Disney Animation.

This sounds like a good plan. The girls do well, too, going out in the morning, getting in lots of rides and shows with no waits, and then going back for some swim and rest time.

Ooooh got some good guessers! Yes, it is The Magic of Disney Animation! This is such an interesting attraction. Fiance and I have never been able to do the drawing session yet since the line has always been WAY too long. Hopefully we'll be able to in March! Here's what the WDW website has to say about it:

"The Magic of Disney Animation is an informative 20-minute show at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park where Guests of all ages are invited to discover the process of creating animated characters.

Go behind the scenes of animated Disney classics like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King for a look at how Disney animators create your favorite characters. Join Mushu from Mulan and a real Disney animator as together they illustrate—in a humorous and an easy-to-understand way—the basics of creating animated characters and character development.

After the show, embark on a guided walk to a special landing and snap a picture of the former studios of Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida. After a brief discussion about animation with your guide, take some time to join in a number of different workshops that bring the magic of Disney animation to life."

Clue #10:

This show lets us see Sorcerer Mickey in action. Can Mickey and the "power of imagination" save the day?

I don't think I know this one.. I am truly stumped.

Sorry girl!

Hey! Glad you made it over. Better late than never! :)

Thanks MeMom. When I start my PTR for that trip, I know I'll be asking you for lots of tips!
