My dad, dh and ds8 are at the game right now! I grew up @ 1 1/2 hrs. from NYC and some of my happiest memories from when I was a little girl were getting to spend Sunday afternoons at The Stadium--just me and my dad!

That's funny you say that, cause every single boy from New England who was a Red Sox fan went on and on about Babe and the curse. Maybe it got passed on to this generation.

I'm from New York, and I never even knew that there was a Yankees/Red Sox rivalry until I went to Boston.

I like that lead. Even if the Sox should win the next two (which is feasible considering the upcoming pitching matchups) the Yanks will still have a 4 1/2 game lead.
