"If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true....." Cinderella
When I left off, we had an amazing experience at the Wishes Dessert Party. We enjoyed...The Magic Memories and You show--
Had some tasty desserts--
Watched Tink fly over head and watched Wishes--
It had been an amazing and memorable evening so far. But, we weren't finished yet...we had our very first evening EMH to attend. I was so excited! DH on the other hand wasn't quite sure about it...you see, he's an early to bed, early to rise type of guy. But, I had wanted to experience the park late at night for so long that he finally gave in and I think by the look of the smile on his face that night that he was a little bit excited too!
We exited the Dessert Party in Tomorrowland and since we didn't really have a specific goal in mind that night, we started walking and just taking everything in. As we approached the People Mover, both boys seemed eager to ride again so off we went. We couldn't have picked a more perfect time because as we were riding, The Magic, Memories and You show was just beginning again and we could see bits of it and hear the music in distance. It was truly amazing to see the park all lit up. I had tucked my camera safely away so I didn't get any pictures but you'll have to take my word for it....it was wonderful!
After the People Mover, we checked out the wait time for Space Mountain. It was still long as we expected it would be, so we decided to continue on...
We stopped to get a picture of the boys--
I'm sure you can guess what destination we had in mind. A few pictures on our way over--
Yes...it was BTMRR!!There's nothing better than riding at night.

There was a 20 minute wait time but we decided to get in line anyway. I had a sneaking suspicion that it really wasn't that long.....and I was right.
We barely waited in line--
And we were up! We had such a great ride as usual! So good in fact, that we decided to turn around and do it again!
After conquering BTMRR twice in a row, we decided to head over to Splash. DH decided to opt out. He wasn't in the mood to get wet. Surprisingly, Nick agreed and they went off to check out the nearby gift shop. So, that left Noah and myself. Looking back, you would think that it would have been me that opted out since I was the water magnet after all.

But, nope...it was another thing I had yet to experience...riding Splash Mountain at night and seeing the castle in the distance. The best part was that it was nearing midnight. We hopped into a non-existent line and before we knew it we were climbing in our log. We were placed behind four teenagers who had those light-up hats on that kept flashing all through the ride. I have to admit it was a little distracting but Noah got a kick out of it. We approached the big hill. Now, I usually close my eyes at this point...I am a little afraid of heights and this part makes me nervous.

But, I forced myself to keep them open so I could get one quick glimpse of the castle and then.....
AWWWW.....we came splashing down. You would never believe it but I was almost completely dry. How could this happen? Well...almost dry until the teenager in front of us felt that his friends didn't quite get wet enough and reached down and splashed some water on the boat. So much for a dry ride....
After Splash, we decided to head back over to Tomorrowland and I had to get a picture of the castle on the way by--
We decided to check out Space Mountain again but when we approached the wait time was still long even at 12:30am. I was willing to wait but DH was more than ready to leave. He'd had a good time but was ready to head back to Pop. The sugar rush had apparently wore off the boys as well because they were dragging a little. We decided to head back toward the castle and say goodbye.
I really wasn't ready and just like earlier in the day, started videotaping trying to hold on to every last moment we had in the Magic Kingdom--
(I clipped some pictures to show you so you could walk along with us)
A final glance back....
We slowly made our way out--
I couldn't leave without getting a picture of the boys with Roy and Minnie-
I almost missed Noah...he was ready to go.
But...not me.
As much as I love the Magic Kingdom...it's always hardest to leave this park. I was so happy though that we had made our last night in Disney so special. It was definitely a night to remember!!
Up Next--Wait! We're not finished yet...Epcot here we come one last time!
