I woke about 6.30am and had a shower then went to the pool area of the hotel to have the complimentary continental breakfast. There was a good selection of cereals, breads, bagels, donuts, muffins and fruits. I had cereal and a donut, before heading off to Disneyland. It was getting busier as I walked up the street but I still got into Disneyland just before 8am and we were all then held on Main Street until dead on 8am. Then it was a dash to get tickets for Star Tours,
The queue for Fastpasses was about 10 minutes long and my return time was 9.45am t0 10.45am, this gave me plenty of time to do a few rides, inc Space Mountain
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
I must say the Nemo ride is a good one considering how they have converted it from 20000 Leagues Under the Sea. Then it came to Star Tours which has only just reopened after a revamp and I must say I really enjoyed it
After this I wandered about a bit more and did a few more rides, Jungle Cruise
Then I went past Tom Sawyer Island and the River of America
Haunted Mansion
Then onto Splash Mountain
It was then time for lunch after which I headed over to Disneys California Adventure. Once in CA I went on various rides, but the one that disappointed me the most was Tower of Terror as it does not have the random drop sequence
California Screamin' was fun and has great views over towards the Hollywood Hills
As it was so warm the Grizzly River Run was a nice way to cool down!
By about 4pm it was getting warm so I went back to the hotel had a swim and shower then got ready to meet up with a friend, who was in LA, for dinner. We went to the nearby Cheesecake Factory and had a nice meal. Then at 10pm it was time for bed and more Disney tomorrow!!
