Go to park on Extended Hours/After Hours Events or avoid?

Not staying at a deluxe, and not doing hard ticket event but both extended hours and after hours event are after regular hours, although people can come in for After Hours party at 7. The week we’re going in January has event at MK and late hours at Epcot on Monday (I had planned Epcot) and event at Hollywood Studios and extended hours at MK on Wednesday (I had planned MK). Do these things affect park crowds during the day? One thing we definitely couldn’t do is get in line last thing before closing for a ride, but I don’t see us doing that anyway. I do plan to use genie+. And we do have hoppers, fyi.

And, you can still hop in line just before official closing time if the mood strikes.
