MyDizneyBoyz,

Envie received!

Momejay,

Envie on the way!!!

---------------------------------

Did anyone else NOT get the RedPlum in this week's paper?? I got the SS and P&G but no RP. I always check the paper before buying and NONE of the papers had the RP. :confused3

The only insert I had this week was a very small P&G. Therefore my envie that goes to Accountingbabe08 will be very tiny. I will mail it on Tuesday. Didn't get any mail delivered until late Saturday. I still have snow and ice at my house!

Hulagirl87,

Finally got the envie you sent last week. It was great! I can use quite a few of them.Don't ever worry about sending too many at one time. There can never be too many coupons.

LoriABil your coupon envelope is being compiled! Since this is my first one, it will be HUGE! (I think!)

I'm trying hard to make sure they aren't about to expire, but it's a big bunch, so please forgive me if a few slip through!

Ok, since I'm getting my first envie ready and haven't gotten one yet, I have a clipping question:
If there are 2 coupons next to each other with a similar product on each, should I cut them apart or leave them attatched?

For example:
I have a coupon for Gas-X and then a coupon for Gas-X prevention

Thanks!

I don't cut them apart (even if they're totally unrelated) because the thicker your envie, the more likely you will have to pay more postage for how thick it is. Envies that measure less than 1/4" thick cost less to mail than those less than 3/4". Over 3/4" thick and you pay more yet. Since I usually mail a lot of coupons to my train buddy each week, I try to spread them out as much as possible in a piece of 8 1/2 X 11 paper which I fold to fit the size of the envie I use.

Ok, so now I'm really frustrated. I just got through getting all my coupons ready to mail and realized my paper from yesterday had no coupons! Arrgh!!

Walmart shopping trip
Coupons saved me: $8.75
:cool1:

I also bought All You magazine for the first time based on everyones recommendations for the coupons. There are some good ones in there! Just the coupons alone for the items I frequently use paid for the magazine :goodvibes

Juliee8 your envie is in the mail box!

I'm ready to not have any more snow so we can get back on track!

Shortstuff...I got your envie the other day, I can't remember if I posted or not and I am too lazy this morning to look :lmao:

HmcFall-your envie is headed out this morning (I am actually sending two) :goodvibes

Sumlthomp-I received your envie on Saturday, Thank You!

-you have an envie headed your way today, enjoy!

Jacobsmom00..your envie is on it's way! :thumbsup2

Just curious.... is everyone watching "Extreme Couponing" on TLC??? CRAZY!!!

The first woman bought over $1K of groceries for $51 (plus the $70 she spent for the coupon clipping service)

Another young mother got $600+ of groceries for $2 and change (and I think she and her husband actually have their stockpile insured!)

Another woman got $238 groceries for $6

A guy got $769 for $56, $974 for $35, and $4,000 for $150. Amazing. $5743 for $241 is what TLC said. He bought a lot of soaps, deodorants, toothbrushes, floss, and 1100 boxes of cereal (that he's giving to a food bank.)

I think I got a deal when I save $40 - $60 on a big shopping! These people make me look like an amateur!!!!!

The one thing I don't get is, the first couple bought so much stuff that they will probably never use! 200+ boxes of pasta??? The bugs will get to it long before they can use it! 100+ bottles of Gatorade? If that's all you're going to drink..... 150 candy bars? It would have been awesome to see them donate the bulk of their buy to a charity or food pantry or a church. They just bought the stuff to prove how great they can do with coupons. Their home was "stockpiled" with so much stuff --- they're probably set for at least 2 years (or more). Hopefully, they'll actually USE the stuff they bought!

I watched it when it first aired a couple weeks ago. Honestly, the word that came to my mind was "hoarder," not couponer!! :scared1: But I guess there's a reason they called it EXTREME Couponing! :rotfl: Plus, when they were clearing off the shelves of the product...I thought it was an unspoken rule among couponers that you don't take EVERYthing! :confused3 I find it rude. And I believe at least one of them said they don't have tax on food. How nice would that be! I follow the one who calls herself The Krazy Coupon Lady. Strange to finally put a face on this blogger! Her site is truly one of the best, I think. And like someone else on here said, they are looking for other crazy couponers as the show was picked up for more episodes. Any of you folks trying out?! If anyone makes it, you MUST let us know so we can support ya!! :dance3:

vitfamily, your envie won't go out until tomorrow. massive snow/ice storm heading this way today. well snow storm, now, turning to ice soon.
