I went on a very overdue grocery trip to Kroger and my coupon savings was $60.27!!! Add that with my in-store savings, and I saved a whooping $120.62!! I was very pleased with myself

Sooooo, I'm in little ol Alabama where we rarely get your typical wintery weather. In fact, just having an inch of snow will shut down school and businesses! We currently have 6 inches on the ground and it isn't expected to stop til almost noon tomorrow! See, I LOVE snow and couldn't be happier!! BUT, the entire area, or Southeast US, is being crippled. In fact, I saw that ATL Airport is even shut down! Anywho, the point is, Jacobsmom00, your envie prob won't go out for at least a day or so. The temps aren't supposed to get above freezing til Thursday. Needless to say, it's going to be an interesting week for me!

Here's hoping everyone has a great week and stays warm!

Gee, there are a TON of North Carolinians on this train!! Reading through it all is so surprising!

Just an update, my mail lady didn't make it through my neighborhood today either. A neighbor of mine works for the DOT and he drove a plow through the neighborhood... so hopefully she will be able to make it in tomorrow... and I will be able to make it out!

I'm out here in NC as well and our entire city is shut down. The mail didn't even come through my neighborhood today!

Classes have been cancelled today and tomorrow... when today was supposed to be the first day of class. I'm heartbroken! Total nerd here.... - maybe it's a graduate school thing.

You're in Charlotte...any chance your grad courses are at UNCC? I'm an alum from way back in 1998.

Our MTR loves attending Yankee games and has been a single mom for the past 26 years. One of her greatest honors was walking her daughter down the aisle. She is not yet a grandmother but she is looking forward to that day. Her favorite resort to stay at is the Beach Club but she loves the decor and ambiance of the Grand Floridian.
