Vanessainwonderland - got the XL envie today - thanks!!:woohoo:

have an appointment for a siding and windows guys to come over tonite...we have fogged over windows and rotting particle board siding. Am expecting a HUGE budget buster! :scared1:Have been doing so well with paying stuff down...I guess this is necessary though (?!?) But the bigger issue is always, this is taking $ from potential vacations! WHEN will I get back to WDW???:wizard:

Anyhoo...if any of y'all have any coupons for home improvements, let me know:lmao:

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure with your saving savvy you can at least find the best deal out there. I feel the same way. Whenever I earn a few dollars toward vacation something comes up that costs that few dollars plus some:confused3. Good luck!

mandy48449--big envie on the way to you yesterday. Also, sent you an envie on thursday. Sorry about last week!

Soscary'09--recieved your envie early last week. Thanks!

Shipooowner--thank you so much for the birthday coupons and wishes!! They were great!!!

thanks for all the coupons they were great lots i could use...

All of our stores here double coupons up to .99. Once every few weeks, Stop N Shop will print 4 "dollar double coupons" on their flyer which means that they will double (only 4) of your coupons that are 1.00! AND, once every few months one of our stores (I think its A & P) will triple your coupons up to .99! On the downside, I have trouble with our local Walmart(s) accepting other store (mostly Target) coupons. (Even when it says manufactures coupon on it). They also won't accept printed coupons from the internet because they think they are just "copied" coupons. You now have to bring the entire printed page from your computer before they will accept them! :confused3 Also, last week went I went to Walmart, they would only accept ONE of my internet coupons! Boy was I mad, so of course, I wouldn't buy the product! Walmart is much more fussy about accepting coupons here in NJ than say, in Fla. when I go visit my family. I say wherever they accept coupons is where I will shop! :cool1:

Even though a store's logo is printed somewhere on a coupon, if it says mfg. coupon on the coupon, it's supposed to be able to be used at any store that takes mfg. coupons.

Yes, some stores do double but it really varies a lot from region to region. For example, where I live we have only one store that doubles coupons and they only do it two days a week. They also limit it to five coupons and you have to buy $25 before coupons for them to double. I think there must be other stores with more liberal doubling policies than what we have here.

NJSAM!!! Wow!!! :yay: What a great surprise~~~many, many thanks!! :woohoo:

You are SOOo welcome  and a GREAT BIG thanks to you, too for the Shoprite coupons! :woohoo::woohoo::yay:

Gotta go to Shoprite!

Have a great week-end, everyone and Happy Shopping!

OMG :cool1: I just got back from Shoprite, A & P, and CVS. Thanks to our wonderful conductor :lovestruc :flower3: who sent me Shoprite coupons, I spent $67.13 and saved $36.56! BOY WAS I THRILLED! And that was not by buying 2 or 3 of the same items. That was just a regular small order. :cool1:

Then, off I went to CVS. I only needed a couple of things, but when I scanned my card at the coupon center, I received a coupon for Godiva Gems; buy one bag, get one free! Who could pass up chocolate, especially if it's Godiva AND you get one free! (I only wish I had had a manufacturer's coupon to make it an even sweeter deal!) Then I picked up a Pulsar toothbrush (I had a coupon, buy one get one). However, the store had a sale buy one, get one for 1/2 off. So, they PAID ME $2.99 to buy two toothbrushes! I really only went to CVS to get the Dawn dishwashing liquid for .97. (I saved $1.22 on each one. Unfortunately, I only had two coupons!) :confused3 But hey, I skipped out of there a happy woman! :cool1: :rotfl2:

My REAL joy came when I got to A & P to buy a rib steak for dinner and some blueberries. Both were on sale, of course! (WHO ever pays retail for ANYTHING?) As I started to leave the produce dept, I spotted a large display and a pad of coupons attached! Of course, I grabbed a bunch (looking around to see if I had been "spotted" by anyone) and so began my "quest"! :woohoo: I DILIGENTLY soured the ENTIRE store, up and down every aisle, top to bottom seeking out coupon pads to send to my train buddy! I was thrilled to find a Crystal Lite display at the end of an aisle, but when I spotted the EMPTY coupon pad, I was furious! (How dare someone take the WHOLE pad! :headache: :rolleyes1 ) By the time I finished, I ended up finding a whopping FIFTEEN COUPONS! That is a HUGE first for me. I had found the "mother load"! :yay: :dance3: As I walked back up towards the register, I even found another coupon pad that had gone undiscovered on my first scour because it was so close to the floor! Just as I got a few feet away from the self-checkout, a man's voice came over the loudspeaker asking that the manager come up to the office to look at the cameras! OMG I thought, I was captured on camera taking too many coupons and now I will be stopped trying to escape the A & P with all my treasures! Would they arrest me for stealing or just greed, I wondered.:scared1: But, luckily, my shorts pockets stuffed to overflowing, and coupon pads falling out of my pocketbook, I made it safely to my car, locked my doors and swiftly drove off. I didn't even look at all the treasures I had found until I got home! :rolleyes1:worship:

If anyone would like to share in my joy, pm me with your address and I will send some your way. I have .50 on kleenex, 1.00 on Air Wick Aqua Mist, .75 on Dove Silky smooth chocolate bars, 1.00 on Pedigree Good Bites, .75 on Bumble Bee Sensations Tuna Medley Bowl, 1.00 and .75 on General Mills cereals, 4.00 on Prevacid, 1.00 on Honey Maid Grahams (must buy jet-puffed marshmallows and Hersheys' choc. bars), 1.00 on Weber seasonings, 1.00 on Starbucks coffee,1.00 on milk or soy milk when you buy Murray Sugar Free cookies, 1.00 on any brand juice boxes or pouches when you buy Rice Krispies, 1.00 on bottled water when you buy Keebler/Sunshine crackers, and 1.00 on Breton, Cabaret, or Water Crackers! Whew!

Want to hear the funniest part of all? I do not use ANY of the products I got coupons for :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:  They are all just for sharing!

BOY, did I have A GREAT DAY! Thanks, DJ for your contribution! :dance3:woohoo: :yay: :flower3:

:thumbsup2 What a great read for an early Sunday morning. You had me smiling from ear to ear and nose to toes. Besides baking those cookies, you should consider a second career in writing.

But as for someone taking all the Crystal Light coupons..... :furious:

I have a feeling you might be getting a request or two. Thanks for posting and offering to share. :grouphug:

ETA: I had a whole bunch more smilies but I just learned there can't be more than 25 in a post and njsam used 22 so I had to delete 8 of mine. LOLOL~~can't use a smilie there either.
