OMG

I just got back from Shoprite, A & P, and CVS. Thanks to our wonderful conductor

who sent me Shoprite coupons, I spent $67.13 and saved $36.56! BOY WAS I THRILLED! And that was not by buying 2 or 3 of the same items. That was just a regular small order.
Then, off I went to CVS. I only needed a couple of things, but when I scanned my card at the coupon center, I received a coupon for Godiva Gems; buy one bag, get one free! Who could pass up chocolate, especially if it's Godiva AND you get one free! (I only wish I had had a manufacturer's coupon to make it an even sweeter deal!) Then I picked up a Pulsar toothbrush (I had a coupon, buy one get one). However, the store had a sale buy one, get one for 1/2 off. So, they PAID ME $2.99 to buy two toothbrushes! I really only went to CVS to get the Dawn dishwashing liquid for .97. (I saved $1.22 on each one. Unfortunately, I only had two coupons!)

But hey, I skipped out of there a happy woman!
My REAL joy came when I got to A & P to buy a rib steak for dinner and some blueberries. Both were on sale, of course! (WHO ever pays retail for ANYTHING?) As I started to leave the produce dept, I spotted a large display and a pad of coupons attached! Of course, I grabbed a bunch (looking around to see if I had been "spotted" by anyone) and so began my "quest"!

I DILIGENTLY soured the ENTIRE store, up and down every aisle, top to bottom seeking out coupon pads to send to my train buddy! I was thrilled to find a Crystal Lite display at the end of an aisle, but when I spotted the EMPTY coupon pad, I was furious! (How dare someone take the WHOLE pad!

) By the time I finished, I ended up finding a whopping FIFTEEN COUPONS! That is a HUGE first for me. I had found the "mother load"!

As I walked back up towards the register, I even found another coupon pad that had gone undiscovered on my first scour because it was so close to the floor! Just as I got a few feet away from the self-checkout, a man's voice came over the loudspeaker asking that the manager come up to the office to look at the cameras! OMG I thought, I was captured on camera taking too many coupons and now I will be stopped trying to escape the A & P with all my treasures! Would they arrest me for stealing or just greed, I wondered.

But, luckily, my shorts pockets stuffed to overflowing, and coupon pads falling out of my pocketbook, I made it safely to my car, locked my doors and swiftly drove off. I didn't even look at all the treasures I had found until I got home!

If anyone would like to share in my joy, pm me with your address and I will send some your way. I have .50 on kleenex, 1.00 on Air Wick Aqua Mist, .75 on Dove Silky smooth chocolate bars, 1.00 on Pedigree Good Bites, .75 on Bumble Bee Sensations Tuna Medley Bowl, 1.00 and .75 on General Mills cereals, 4.00 on Prevacid, 1.00 on Honey Maid Grahams (must buy jet-puffed marshmallows and Hersheys' choc. bars), 1.00 on Weber seasonings, 1.00 on Starbucks coffee,1.00 on milk or soy milk when you buy Murray Sugar Free cookies, 1.00 on any brand juice boxes or pouches when you buy Rice Krispies, 1.00 on bottled water when you buy Keebler/Sunshine crackers, and 1.00 on Breton, Cabaret, or Water Crackers!
