You poor dear....but such a great attitude you have!!! You need another from all of us. I think I'd be plenty with that landlord of yours. He'd better be willing to replace every sheet of that 3-ply thick Northern without any complaints! Is it all dried out today? The bathroom not the Northern!!

Welcome back, DJ..wave: glad you guys made it home safe and sound!

Unfortunately, neither the bathroom nor the 3-ply Northern tissue are dried out! As a matter of fact, when I returned home this morning from physical therapy, there was a faint, funky smell permeating through my house as I opened up my front door. : UGH!

While sniffing around on my hands and knees trying to identify the offending odor, I spotted the carton of copy paper that is now home to my enormous pile of govt. papers. The carton is water stained about 1/3 of the way up Thankfully, my GIGANTIC 6 inch plastic binder full of important government papers is on the bottom, so now I have to sort through the box and discard anything that is remotely wet and was not shielded by the plastic binder.

I am also waiting for a professional carpet cleaning company to come and rescue the dining room carpet.

Between the carpet, my carton of work papers, and the bathroom vanity, it's hard to tell which one smells the worse! I just hope I can be rescued from the smell before any mold sets in...

Things were so much funnier on Monday! What a way to start the week!

The landlord and his wife are in Spain for two months. Their daughter came to help out with the plumber, but that's about it. She nearly died when he said, that will be $275.00 to fix! (Her father usually fixes (half-assed) everything...and very cheaply! I negotiated him down to $250.00, but that was all I could do on my end. I'll have to wait and see about the vanity, but I won't hold my breath!

Scrappinmom, I'm a bad, bad, bad train buddy. I really planned on getting that envie in the mail to you today, but I finished unpacking the suitcases, cleaned my refrigerator from top to bottom (Hate that job!), went grocery shopping, hit Kohls with my 30% off coupon since it was the last day of the sale, and now I don't have enough energy left to go to the 24/7 p.o. tonight. It will, will, will go out in the morning. Next week it will go out on Monday as usual and no more excuses, okay?

Sure, if your train buddy can't use them, they can be forwarded to the next person in the route and so on and so on until they get too close to expiration to be forwarded.
