Okay fellow trainriders,

I must let you know about a great thing that is out there that I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but has turned out wonderfully! Before you stop reading, know...this isn't a scam or a sales pitch! It is a website called www.houseparty.com. As stated on their website, "A House Party™ is thousands of parties across the country, hosted by people like you. Each event is sponsored by a leading brand and focuses on something cool that the sponsor wants its best fans to experience firsthand and share with their friends." I have applied for a few of them and was finally choosen for a Febreze party. I was still a bit skeptical but went with it, as I'd read about this on various couponing sites. Sure enough, I received a huge box FULL of free Febreze items!! :cool1: Included was also a new product that they will be releasing in July. Now, having a stinky hubby and dog, I'm obsessed with smell. So this worked out great! I had my girls over for a ladies night and we all divided it out! We were in heaven :cloud9: And from buying plenty of Febreze products before, I would estimate that I had probably about $250 worth of stuff!!

The only catch is they want you to use their website to invite your guests electronically, and would like you to post pics after your party! From the application, it seems they want people who will actually have a decent size party, people who use social networking who would talk highly of their product, and those who actually wouldn't just keep all the product for themselves...tempting as it may be :rolleyes1

Like I said, we had a blast, and what better reason to get together than to get FREEEEE stuff?! :dance3: I've applied for a couple more that are coming up and got all my girlfriends to apply too, so hopefully we can do it again soon. (I think the next one is for those Kleenex Hand Towels that really rock!) It was so cool, I just had to tell my fellow trainriders. Good luck!! :shamrock:

WOW! That sounds like fun; especially the part about getting free products. I'm going to check out the website to see what's going on. Gee, I wonder if they have a promotion for M&Ms???:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I received an invitation to do the Kleenex one. I filled out the application but haven't heard anything back yet. I have read of others doing these House Parties but never quite knew what it was all about before. Thanks for the info. I'll be more inclined to fill out more applications now. :thumbsup2

MMs....that's a good one. Or what about Coke?:cloud9:

I received a Keuring Coffee Maker with one of the ones I did. I had a big coffee party. Was a lot of fun. This really is a great thing.

Tink471 - Sent out one large envelope on Monday (sorry I'm late posting)

Momejay - Received the two envelopes today. Thank you! The one envelope ($1.22 in postage) had opened during transit and only had a few coupons :sad2: but the other envelope arrived fine.

I did one and got a boatload of Hershey Bliss Chocolates, it was like 9 bags of the stuff. It included pads of paper and pens (with the Hershey Bliss logo) for the party. That was sooo good, and my neighbors were really happy with their goodies as well. :) I did another one, too, but I cannot remember what product it was for!

I saw a thread on here about it and applied not thinking I would actually get one but I got the Bull's Eye BBQ Party. We just built our first house last year in a new neighborhood so we are having a block party this Saturday for it and I can't wait! I got a huge box of BBQ sauce, drink koozies, shot glasses, grill caddy with grilling tools and 15 coupons for free BBQ sauce! So far we have about 40 people coming so I'm hoping it will be a good time and I get some good pictures so I can host again!

Mailed another envie this morning to your attention!

Got it today! I was excited because there are 4 Glade Air & Odor Elimator coupons in there and they are .49 with the coupon + the Target coupon this week! I already bought 2 with my coupons I had from last week and I have two big, hairy dogs so it will definitely get put to use!

FYI
I discovered this weekend that Dollar General Stores now take internet coupons. The manager said it came from the corporate office, so I'm thinking they all do now. I asked if there were any limitations and she said no. :goodvibes

Hershey's Bliss Chocolates? Sounds like my kind of House Party! :lovestruc One of my friends participated and hers was White Cloud paper products. Lots of nice freebies for all of us.

Carmell226, an envie arrived yesterday.
