Okay fellow trainriders,
I must let you know about a great thing that is out there that I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but has turned out wonderfully! Before you stop reading, know...
this isn't a scam or a sales pitch! It is a website called
www.houseparty.com. As stated on their website, "A House Party is thousands of parties across the country, hosted by people like you. Each event is sponsored by a leading brand and focuses on something cool that the sponsor wants its best fans to experience firsthand and share with their friends." I have applied for a few of them and was finally choosen for a Febreze party. I was still a bit skeptical but went with it, as I'd read about this on various couponing sites. Sure enough, I received a huge box FULL of free Febreze items!!
Included was also a new product that they will be releasing in July. Now, having a stinky hubby and dog, I'm
obsessed with smell. So this worked out great! I had my girls over for a ladies night and we all divided it out! We were in heaven
And from buying plenty of Febreze products before, I would estimate that I had probably about $250 worth of stuff!!
The only catch is they want you to use their website to invite your guests electronically, and would like you to post pics after your party! From the application, it seems they want people who will actually have a decent size party, people who use social networking who would talk highly of their product, and those who actually wouldn't just keep all the product for themselves...tempting as it may be
Like I said, we had a blast, and what better reason to get together than to get FREEEEE stuff?!
I've applied for a couple more that are coming up and got all my girlfriends to apply too, so hopefully we can do it again soon. (I think the next one is for those Kleenex Hand Towels that really rock!) It was so cool, I just had to tell my fellow trainriders. Good luck!!
