I'm not what you would call a hockey fan but I do ask DH who won the game. It is exciting to see Edmonton make such a comback. One for the history books no matter the outcome of the game on Monday.

Yes! They're Canada's team now. It's amazing to see the excitement levels here in Calgary and age-old rivals jumping on the bandwagon. I'm not a hockey fan at all; games 4, 5 & 6 of this series are the first I've watched in literally years. But the excitement is infections, and really, all sports records fall at some point. The fact that no team has ever come back from 3-0 to win a Cup doesn't mean nobody ever will. It might as well be us!

1942 (I think) Maple Leafs won the cup after falling 3-0.

As a prairie girl born and raised...and an Albertan for the last 23 years - we are sooooo stinking excited!!!! They are playing as a team. ALL the lines are playing, not just the first line with all the talent. They in the zone of playing like they did on their 15 games won streak! When you see Skinner bopping - you KNOW he is in the zone - and locked in! The second and third lines are making great plays and scoring as the panthers are so focused on trying to stop the first line from scoring - then the second and third lines come in and play.

I would LOVE to see them win and bring the cup back home to Canada! If they loose - they have played their hearts out and are playing like they have nothing more to loose!

I am an Avalanche fan. And a Canadian. This is tough. Edmonton has been a division rival. There have been playoff loses. But I had to sit in the stands in Sunrise to watch Florida completely dominate my Avs for 60 minutes.

They played well - sometimes sleeping on their feet. The panthers play an AMAZING defensive game. It's easier to play a defensive game vs offensive game.

They had an AMAZING season. Going from a last place team in November to playing game 7 in the Stanley cup finals. That is nothing to be ashamed of. You could feel their disappointment when they were heading into the dressing room.

Hopefully there won't be too many changes to their roster in the upcoming year - and they will be in the same position next year - and HOISTING that cup up!!!!

Oilers should be a little stronger and a bit more hungry for next season. Florida lost in the cup final in 2023 and came back to win this year. Who knows which Oilers team will show up in October.
