As we all know by now Pete and the crew have decided to move the podcast from Tuesday to Wednesday to allow Pete to work on his exercise routine.

I just wanted to say good luck Pete, we know you can do it. If you ever have a moment of weakness (lord knows they happen) just post on the boards and we will try and help you through it.

Go get'em Pete and kick the ________ out of those calories!! ::yes::

You can do it Pete!! :yay:

I'm right there with you! We joined a fitness club here and I have been going every week day for a work out! I meet with my trainer this week to get my routine...woo...and that's not a happy woo either.

Can I say that yoga is a wonderful thing! I have a dvd that I follow at home daily (30 minutes) and I attend a class twice a week at the club for an hour each time. I love to end my day with yoga...it truly relaxes me and I have noticed that I am sleeping better because of it! Good stress reliever!!

:yay: jumping jacks are great

 aerobics too

:cool1: dancercize

:duck: maybe dodge ball

:dance3: how about line dancing?

:drinking1 drink plenty of water too!

Good Luck Pete

Go Pete!! I starting working out in April. I had about 100 lbs to lose. I started with a trainer and still go to her once a week. I have been going 4-5 times a week and have dropped 2 sizes in 2 months. I second the vote for yoga. I take a class 2x's a week and it is so relaxing and I don't have to bend into a pretzel. (that would not be a pretty sight)

Good Luck!

Becky

We joined a fitness club last night. I have tried to persuade DW that fat and surly is the new thin, but she disagrees. As I was writing the check and filling out the paperwork, there was an aerobics class going on. The women there looked entirely too thin and cheerful. DW looked excited (she would like to loose five pounds - I need to loose multiples of that five pounds).

It's going to be a long summer.

Hang in there...lol

My current goal is 50 pounds by February. I'll set a new goal then!

just remember to keep busy :bored:

and don't let the snacks get you!! :cake: :tiptoe:

you can do it Pete:thumbsup2

Go for it Pete! The first few visits may be outside of your comfort zone and I can assure you the second day after working out you will feel soreness in places you did not know could be soar. I started to work out with a trainer 2 X per week and it is going great. It took a few visits and a priority shift to make time for the workouts, but I am glad I did. Don’t focus on the numbers on the scales as the changes may not be reflected there as much as in the change form fat to muscle.
Best of luck and keep us updated on how it is going.

:thumbsup2 Pete I know what you are going through in your quest to slim down. Like you im doing the same for my trip to Walt Disney World next month. This weekend I will be walking at a local Metro Park in my Hometown of Columbus Ohio. There is a 3.5 mile bike and jogging/walking trail at the park that i walk on it is soo peaceful when i walk on it with music from my mp3 player comming through my headphones. Pete I want to slim down to 200lbs or below by the week i go to WDW. Right now im at 215lbs down from 230lbs a few months ago. Im almost there:) ::yes:: Just remember Pete You Can Do It God Bless You:thumbsup2

Pete:

But just remember, we all know it takes a lot of energy to think up all those great new ways to give away freebies (i.e. podcast cruises) on the show. Lots, and lots, and lots of those bad calories and free radicals being expended, just thinking, thinking, thinking.

"Treadmills?! We don't need no stinkin' Treadmills".

We know you can do it, Pete. :dance3:

Good Luck Pete!!

I too, need to slim down. Maybe Walter can motivate me to go to a trainer.

I would love for you to blog about your experence.

It is nice to know I am not alone in the quest to be healthy.

Awesome Pete! The best part about working out is the moment that you finish for the day. You feel refreshed and happy that it's over :)
