go Easter 2005 -or- 2006 CROWDS ? re: Passover dates near and far

Easter 2005 is March 27
Passover 2005 is April 23

How does your school handle Spring/Easter/Passover
break when the holidays do not fall near each other ?

For 2006 the dates are closer:
Easter = April 16
Passover = April 12
So Spring/Easter/Passover will be the
same week (at least in the NY area).

My DS & DD go to Catholic school -
so I thought 2005 may be a less crowded
with Easter n March and Passover in April.

We could do 10 days at WDW - Holy Thursday
till the Saturday following.
(we'd leave the Wed before Holy Thursday -
my DS & DD have a 1/2 day of school)


What are your thoughts of Easter crowds for
2005 and 2006 ?

We are planning 2005 - but from the WDW web-sites,
the weather (warmer & less rain) is better in April
than it is in March.

I think Easter week will still be packed. Few school systems around the country include Jewish Holidays in their scheduling.
Since Passover falls on a Saturday in 2005, I'm sure it will not make a difference in NYC's schedule.

I would agree that Easter week in 2005 would probably be less crowded than 2006. Here in Massachusetts, all public schools always have the third week in April off, no matter when Easter falls. We went that week two years ago, which happened to coincide with Easter week. It was packed, especially the MK. Fast Pass and FOTL at Universal make life easier as well as the parks staying open late, but it is still pretty crowded.
