Gnomies Gone Wild

Yes, Yes, I know. Marc is already snoring.

Charles is always in bed before me -- I wouldn't know what to do if he stayed up as late as me. :sad2:

I think Connor is still in his room reading. I should probably go check on that, but that would mean actually getting up. LOL!

LOL I crashed at 10pm, I am not much of a late owl, but like Jackie as summer gets here my routine changes up a bit!!!

GOOD MORNING PAULA!! How are you doing???

Morning, Jen! I should have gone to bed at ten last night since Charles saw fit to wake me up at 6:30 this morning for coffee. :sad2: I think I will be taking a nap today.

See a nap sounds delightful! LOL leave it to the early bird to get you up LOL!!!!

I still have to get 3 rooms spotless today and I have church nursery which depending on the crowd can make you want to pull all your hair out LOL!!!!! Just relaxing a few minutes before I get back to work....thankfully vacation starts Wednesday!

He always seems to do that to me. I hope it means he will be ready to go for rope drop every morning. LOL!

I keep forgetting that you are still in school -- it is easy to think everyone is on vacation when I am -- three more days, though, is so doable!!! You'll be done before you know it!

We don't have kids so we might as well be on vacation, although I'm opening my room up to all the science teachers tomorrow to come grab what they want so I don't have to do a lot of packing up of my room LOL!!!!! I have all my files electronic with all the cool labs I do so I'm good with that...just have to bring a few others things with me!

Hmmmm...let me know how that rope drop goes...:rotfl:

That's a good idea! Less to pack!

Connor will be the one that is hardest to get up -- that boy loves to sleep.

LOL!! I hear it only gets worse as they enter teenagedom!!!!!! You may never see him before noon again during the summer!!!

Hi everyone!!

:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Hey P, nice to see you :teeth:

Jen, I was thinking you must be out of school too to be doing all that work! Yikes girl, you are motivated!

CP, we are getting into our summer sleep patterns too although I haven't regularly stayed up till midnight in years! I do get what you said about Charles though. Greg tends to naturally sleep in longer and stay up at night longer so he gets some time to himself at night and I get it in the morning which we both appreciate!

LL, I can't remember if I contratulated you on finishing your first class. Way to go!:yay:

Hi, P! Nice to see you!

Woken up at 6:30 on a Sunday morning? Charles, that is just not right even if you did make coffee. ;)

Jen- if I had one quarter of your motivation and industriousness (is that a word?) I'd be all set. You are making me feel lazy. But not lazy enough to get up and do something....

Katie- sounds like you and Greg have a nice routine. I suspect that if when I find someone I actually want to commit to I'm going to need my own room. :rotfl:

So I had a Disney nightmare last night. I had truly left the packing for the last minute and had one hour to shower, pack and get to the airport. And on top of that I couldn't find my bathing suit, camera or annual pass. :scared1: Wonder what that means other than that I have vacation on the brain. :upsidedow

Morning Gnomies.

Hi Paula!

I'm trying to get myself motivated to do some cleaning. Bah.

I need to find myself a hobby that doesn't include shopping. I am spending far too much money lately. Need to cut it out so I have $$ for Disney!

Bah to cleaning and bah to "hobbies" that are so fun but are so bad for you. Why is it that eating and shopping and being lazy are so much fun but get you in so much trouble?? :confused3

And why is exercise, eating well and being a responsible adult so painful?

Clearly there is a flaw in the plan somewhere. :lmao:

And while I am railing against the universe... what's up with this work thing? Surely there must be a better way. ;)

I couldn't have said it better, C!

I find that I'm having a hard time staying at home because then I want to eat. Then I go out shopping to get away from the eating and spend all my money.

Where is the solution?

I wish I knew, LL. If you figure it out, let me know. I have found that not having temptations in the house is the best way for me to sometimes win against temptation (other times I order takeout :rolleyes1). And the easiest way for me to avoid temptation is to use a grocery delivery service. I figure the ~$6 delivery fee is worth it if it forces me to stick to my list.

But WHY isn't life easier?? Surely if you and I planned the universe things would run more smoothly! ;)

Yes, it would run a heck of a lot more smoothly! I think that sentence is not right but I don't care. :rotfl2:

See, that's what I do, just order take out which COMPLETLY defeats the purpose of my band.

I want candy so badly right now. JELLY BEANS. Yum.

Take out can be evil. For me, sweets aren't my problem. I can resist chocolate, ice cream, cake, whatever with no problem. But carbs? Chips, pizza, french fries etc? I am addicted!! Maybe I need rehab.
