Well, we finally got Kyle to school today which is a good start. They're putting him on some new meds so hopefully that will help to. He and I are making dinner together tonight!

Should it bother me that the ex-boy went on a date this weekend? I know we weren't in a super sentimental relationship or anything but it's still irking me!

I love what Paula said. It's hard to see when in the midst of it (believe me, I know!) but sometimes yucky things happen to make way for great things to happen in the future. At least that is what I hold onto/believe and that is what gets me through.

Why can't the pieces of our lives fall neatly into place?!?

I discovered tonight that the home we like so much, the one we could see ourselves living in and have just been waiting on me to get a job...has sold.

I know this isn't the worst thing that could possibly happen to us. I don't have a job so we can't buy a new house anyways. And even if I do find a job soon, I'm not certain buying a house is really the wisest thing to do right now. BUT we have talked for several years about wanting to move. I want a larger yard on a quieter street while the kids are still young enough to get good use out of it. I know there are other houses but it's so hard to let go of a picture that I have had in my mind for the last 10 months!

Hi, LL! No plans for the weekend. We might go see Prince of Persia -- I love old-fashioned action adventure movies, and the article in D23 made me want to see it. Also, our pool opens this weekend, so we will probably find our way over there. That's about it. What are your plans?

No big plans. Going to see Sex and the City 2 tonight. Tomorrow morning going to visit my parents and have my car looked at. It will be a short visit though because I'm going to try to get home by 2:30PM because that is when Marc gets out of work. I think we are going to do lobster for dinner tomorrow. Yummmm!!

I really want to go swimming but there are very few places around here. I need to do some research and find a place, I love swimming and I never get to do enough of it during the summers.

I survived the July heat. You know, it's not horribly bad. They have enough AC and they have those huge misting things on. Drink enough water and you'll be fine. I went in the middle of July too, July 17th I think I arrived. A little park in the am, Stormalong Bay and then some evening park magic. Or heck, just evenings in the park!

I have a hot date with my lounge chair, a stack of magazined and a pitcher of margaritas this weekend.

LL- your lobster plans sound delish!

CP- sorry you're having some Disney doubts. I can certainly say that it is possible to relax and lounge at the pool and not go nuts in the parks. And yes, there is a sandy bottom. Good luck with the decision and/or negotiation with the family...

Maybe if they don't want to go you could squeeze in a quick solo trip? Or better yet plan it to coincide with other DIS'ers trips?
