Stace, what a pain about your boyfriend having to go all the way to Winnipeg for his surgery.

No! Not my boyfriend! My Mum's! But I get to drive them to the airport tomorrow! And then go to a movie with my boyfriend who still has both of his knees! Hope you're feeling better Jackie!

The "interesting" comment about my trip was becuz my bestie turned into a major PITA and I wish I hadnt brought her. I did manage to have some fun though. Will wait a bit to start the T.R.....let the bad vibes wear off a bit.

Juelz...what's a PITA? Similar to a Boo to the b? I've learned over the years that not all friends make the best travel buddies. I know where you're coming from!

Megan keeps watching that video over and over again---"Play that again Mommy!" She LOVES it....is SO mesmerized by it....and stares at with the sweetest look of awe and complete love!!! I hope we get to see that someday soon!!! SO COOL!!!! Of course, I want to know how it all works!!!

She looked so cute, and they had SUCH a good time. I am sure they were the best pair out there....they LOVE to dance together. They try to mimic moves from DWTS....so funny!!!

Well, Gnomies, it's "raining" in my life again. Chelsea has some sort of hives/rash, and our refrigerator has decided not to cool anymore. My dad is coming over to look at it today, and I hope it is a quick fix. Luckily, we have a fridge in the garage, but what a pain to transfer everything into it last night. I told Charles I was one disaster away from running away. This has not been a good year for me.

Hey girls!!

Sorry I haven't hopped on earlier but I needed Sunday to catch up on sleep (I left MK at midnight and had to meet ME at 3:15, was running on less than 2 hours sleep and a couple snoozes on the planes) Yesterday was spent getting the house back to normal...dishes, laundry, vacuuming, grocery shopping, etc Catching back up with the Dis feels a bit overwhelming right now so I am taking it slowly!!

I know several of you saw on my PTR that I didn't get the job I interviewed for. I'm OK because it wasn't the job I really wanted but it leaves one less option in my mind which increases the stress right now.

I finally saw my PP pictures today and was disgusted! I guess I haven't taken a real good look at myself lately (denial is a strong emotion!) Time to dig deep and find some motivation to change my lifestyle and do something about this!

Well, Chelsea's rash has spread to encompass almost her entire body. I called the dermatologist to make sure she would be able to look at it along with the other unrelated matter we are going to her for today. My poor Chelsea Belle is just miserable, and I can feel my hair turning. Blag! It feels like a very long time until her 2:50 appointment. I am slowly going mad watching the clock.

Thank you! I think I just feel like there has been a lot more rain in the past twelve months than sunshine and rainbows. Every time I let out a sigh of relief that the worst is over, something else happens. Charles tells me that's real life, but I feel like there has been a whole lot of "real life" lately.

No, and it's killing me that I can't make it all better. I gave her some more Benedryl, so maybe she will sleep some before the appointment.

Hey gang... Im up for a little bit. All I did yesterday was sleep and visit the loo. Today my big goal in life is to attempt to drink some tomato soup.....all I could keep down yesterday was 6 freeze pops and 6 saltines! I am the only one sick so I dont know what I've caught...

Stace-how was the ride to the airport? I like long car ride errands....maybe thats wierd?

CP-Poor Chelsea! I had that happen just once, as a kid, maybe in 6th or 7th grade too. I was allergic to the med I was on @ the time. ugh.

C-I dream EVERY DAY about running away. lol. And Disney would be so ideal...

Jen-That is truly AWESOME news for you and Prince P. You two surely have a blessed life and will have such wonderful stories to tell your kids about life before they came along...

LL-So am I understanding TODAY is your first day?! How exciting-how'd it go?! I really want to go back and get my business degree. As much as I love children-I've decided I'm too scatterbrained to ever be able to deal with lesson plans or those few trouble kids that hold the class back every year. Better just to stick with the working adult world I think....

I forgot to mention to you all that I found out through my old mentor that I more than likely will not get that position at my old stomping grounds. Apparently, it was between me and three "kids" who are just getting out of college. In today's economy, my experience and expertise does not outweigh the $18,000+ difference in what they would have to pay me, and what they can pay them. No big deal though....I really didn't want to end up there just because it would be the longest drive for me. The only downside is that now I HAVE to fill out the application for the jobs posted in the two schools nearest me....this County has the MOST ridiculous application...it is 12 pages, and I hate filling it out all over again!!! YUCK! Oh well......Tom said we can definitely plan a WDW trip if I get a job, so I will try to hold on to that as my motivation......you might need to remind me though when I start complaining about it again!!! Hee hee hee!!!

Jen (MM) - Sorry to hear about the job that is one of the things that worries me is that with my Masters degree and my experience, I would be quite the catch but also a more expensive catch. It's hard but don't get discouraged!!

MM, does your local district not have an electronic application? That is crazy having to fill it out repeatedly! In fact, many districts in Iowa now have a common application site and you can electronically transfer your info to any of their HR pages. Very convenient!
