Jen (MM) -- we have all of Thanksgiving week off (but I won't tell Tom that ). As a teacher, you KNOW there isn't much of anything going on right before a Thanksgiving break, but August could be fun, too!

Jen (JJ) -- yes, the end of the year always seems to fly by because it is so crazy!

With such proximity to the kitchen, I am forever snacking. And I am in need of ideas for some healthy, low-fat snacks. What are your favorites???

I've become a fan of oatmeal muffins lately. Whipped chocolate yogurt, baked lays, licorice, and 100 cal. oreo cakester packs. These are also all low in cholesterol!

It's official. My beau is an a$$. I don't want to write too much about it here b/c you just never know but basically I think it boils down to I care more than he does. Hate that.

C - I'm learning that it's just as tough the other way around. I mean, how do you tell someone nicely that you don't really think you're serious about them and therefore don't want to introduce them to your family because they'll overract and start asking about marriage and all that junk?! But I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Let me know if you need to talk or vent! So far, all I can figure is that these guys aren't worth the worrying!

Jess - I'm really sorry to hear about your school issues. That sucks! At least you know that you did everything right and did a great job!

I had my follow up appointment today. Things are looking good. He took off my bandages. My scars never bothered me before but they look really bad now. I don't know why it's bothering me. But they are much longer and more raised up. Ugh. I know they'll go down but they never looked like this after the first surgery.

I also had my appointment with the new school. Everything is all set. I'm very excited! No stupid math placement test.

Stace - Only four more working days....OY your weekend must not be the same as mine LOL!! It's Friday here and I couldn't be happier, although another week down where did the time go.

Leslie...YAY for getting set up at your school and no math placement test!! I'm sure you are very relieved and very anxious to get started!!! So happy for you!!!!

Well guys Phillip and I have decided that with the market the way that it is right now we are going to try renting our house before selling it. We have been recommended a great property manager that 4 other families are using. The first family had their house rented within a month, the second family has had it listed for 2 weeks and has 3 families very interested and the third family put it up this week and is showing it to two families this morning. So it seems to be very positive and we live really close to the Navy base, a flying field for the pilots and a really good Elementary school so that is all in our favor, so I'm very optimistic. We will be listing it at the end of May since we plan on leaving at the end of June! Keep that in your prayers and cross your fingers for us!

Oh C, I'm with you! I have sucessfully lost weight in the past but always during the school year when I was away from home and too busy to snack. I have always gained weight during the summers at home. When I left teaching, I gained about 25 pounds that I have been carrying for the last year. It's VERY hard when you are around food all day!

LL, glad you are feeling better. I have ugly scars from 2 c-sections (and not inconspicuous ones like so many women have, for some reason I have a vertical scar up to my belly button. No bikinis for me ...like that's a problem) They DO get better. Yay for no math!!

MM, I have never had a full Thanksgiving week off except for last year at the university. It would be nice but I'd rather get out a few days earlier at the end of the year!

Jen, sounds like you guys are on track for the big move!

Stace, releationships are always tricky! Greg was the first guy I dated who was clearly ahead of me in our relationship, it can be scary.

any fun weekend plans? I'm taking the boys to a parade tomorrow, otherwise we'll probably just chill and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.

LL - yay for no math tests! Try using Vitamin E oil on your scars. It helps diminish them!

Jen - Yeah...in retail my weekends change every week! I'm off tomorrow, but work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - and then leave for the airport Tuesday night!

Katie - I'm not sure of what I'll do with him...It's not love but more...hey we're both single, why don't we hang out with each other until we find more of what we're looking for...I'm starting to feel kinda bad about it though. I don't want to lead him on at all. I would like us to be friends when all is said and done!

I was able to buy sexy sandals that are not WIDES. I have to share a picture. I'm so excited about them.

And Marc has lost 95lbs total! Doesn't he look great?

And I'm at 70lbs lost.

I know most of you are my Facebook friends and see the pictures on there but I had to share. I'm so proud of us!

OMG that is too funny, I JUST commented on these on FB, I didn't know they were even a part of the ensemble, I just noticed them and thought they were cute. I have unfortunate feet (square) and always have to buy wides. I SO wish I could pull off cute strappy sandals but they end up looking like sausages tied too tightly
