Just thought I'd stop in before heading out for the day! I'm off to see this huge King Tut exhibit in Toronto and then this exhibit about the Human Body (with real cadavers! OTTV!) later! Have a good Saturday everyone!

Have fun Stacy! The human body exhibit was in Boston for awhile and I never got to see but a lot of people I know did and most of them thought it was amazing. Some were a bit disturbed but overall the feedback was positive.

That's good to know! I'm sort of both right now before I see it. I think it's gross while at the same time I'm fascinated! Now I'm just killing time since Lauren is 20 mins. late to pick me up!

Oh P-I hope you all don't get anymore. My parents know exactly how you feel right now, just being south of you in Baltimore. We don't have the snow here, but it's been so darn cold lately, I hate being stuck inside. Definitely wishing you all don't get anymore this upcoming month!

Oy, I'm so tired of school right now! This tuesday is my midterm for my class. I still have one 4 page paper left which I can't write until after we have our field trip AND I have a 20 page paper which I haven't started researching yet AND I have my independent project (formally my thesis). My class paper has to be turned in before April 20th and my project has to be submitted a few times as drafts, so that I can graduate on May 21st with Blake. I'm seriously stressing. Just trying to take it one day at a time, but I'm so worried about everything at home with my dad and my grandmother and the weather sucks.

And my job has been bugging me. Don't know if I told you all this story? There's this guy named Rickie that I work with, his salary is $14.50/hour, he started off making $14.00/hour. He has his bachelors, but has done so many stupid and intentional things, that have killed fish and made our company lose many accounts because of it and his hours keep getting cut, like he's down to 26 hours/week now as a full time employee. There's only 5 of us, and my boss keeps saying that he wants to see what he's going to do with him, he originally wanted him gone by the end of february, he doesn't want to up and fire him because it would put too much strain on the other 4 of us, we would have to split up his work. And originally I was supposed to get the difference in his pay once he left. My 90 day period was jan 16th meaning I was supposed to get a raise then. A big raise. And I'm still at $10.00/hour even though I am a few months out from my Master's degree and one of the other employees is at $10.00/hour but doesn't even have her bachelors. I'm really getting frustrated because Blake's school loans start up this month and I was counting on this raise to help with the expenses. I've been 3 paychecks so far now without my raise and I'm taking care of the shop (which used to be a part time job in itself) plus taking care of my own accounts. I feel like I should be compensated for the difference in my paychecks even when I do get my raise, but with still being new, I don't quite know how to approach it. I just think I'm being severely underpaid right now for the amount and quality of work that I do. So on top of school, I'm just plain in a funk lately.

That's the thing though, my boss is now a full time employee at Nauticus (an Aquarium in Norfolk) and our "boss" is now the employee that has been there the longest, she's awesome. I keep talking to her about every week, but it has to go through our big boss and I've heard her say several times "I hope he doesn't mess this up with Jess" because she knows I do so much. He just hasn't figured out what to do with Rickie. But unfortunately for me that doesn't help my little paycheck pay the extra bills. You know, like I understand the situation, but this is getting ridiculous and starting to get stressful financially.

I would like a sunny getaway, too, C! Instead, I have been sitting over here at my parents' house for the last three hours while my dad puts new brakes on my car. We are up to $120 on them partly because he needed to go get a special tool to reinstall them. I should have bought DVC yesterday when I almost caved.

From what I have heard... maybe just rumor... but some are saying DVC guides are advising not to purchase just yet until whatever this big announcement is comes out. So perhaps it is just as well you haven't caved... YET.

I think it is supposed to come out in the next week or so. All kinds of rumors about what it may be so we'll just have to wait and see.

Moving is never fun. But I saw your new backsplash on FB, I think?, and it looks great. I'm sure you and Marc will be very happy in your new place! A fresh start is always exciting! Are you able to take any time off from work for the move?

I'm layin' around today.....went out last night and got a wee bit annihilated...how do you spell that?! lol.... havent found much motivation to do anything and I still gotta go grocery shopping! ugh!

I am really wishing that I was in WDW this evening. I'd love to be snuggling into my chair at Rose and Crown right about now, ordering my Welsh Dragon and getting ready for Illuminations at 9pm. And would love for my hardest decision tomorrow to be which lounge chair to choose and whether I start with a margarita in Mexico or a Grey Goose in France.

Not sure I can wait until October to go back...

I spent the day in your fair country doing groceries and having lunch at Olive Garden! Yummo! It's nice only being 45 mins. from Michigan!

LL - I know how you feel! It seems like I just moved all of my junk upstairs and soon I'll have to move it all back down! I know it's not the same, but you definately have my sympathy! I bet you'll love your new place though once you're settled!
