If you could fit your trip to Salem in soon, I would appreciate it. I would love to see what it looks like. (I really want to go there after finishing that book about it -- which I really think you would like.)

I started The Other Boleyn Girl last night, but I didn't get very far yet.

Jen- I am so impressed and inspired by your weight loss! Way to go!!!

So what are your "secrets"? You're sticking to the e-mealz menus? How much do you work out? Hope you don't mind sharing!

I don't mind sharing!! Right now I'm following the WW program (I do it online, I don't have the time to make it to meetings so I just weigh in and get some great recipes online I'm really enjoying it! I do make sure that we have a very healthy meal every night...we usually grill some sort of meat and have a veggie or I tweak some of my pasta recipes so that they are healthier!! I make sure to eat breakfast and I'm really chugging those 8 glasses of water a day!!

As far as exercise goes I workout at least 5-6 times a week!! So far this week I'm 2 for 2, I found getting up earlier and working out in the morning has really motivated me and I walk in the afternoons (weather permitting) around the track at school for about 1 to 2 miles!

I have to admit I am nervous about Disney...I don't want this trip to push me back into old habits...so I know for starters I'm just drinking water that is not a habit I want to break out of! I also intened to work out most mornings at the SSR gym. With Paula and I in a 2BR suite I won't have to worry about waking her up and I can go put in at least 30 minutes on a machine and head back to get ready for our day!! I'm also going to be okay with leaving food on my plate and making good appetizer choices. I know I will be eating things that I haven't eaten in a long time so I have to be careful I don't make myself ill off of it!!!! I am okay with a 5lb gain but nothing more and the week I get back I will be working out every day...I will not lose my momentum!!! I'm very gungho about this right now!!!

And those are my secrets!! Thanks for the encouragement guys it really does motivate me and keep me going!!!

Jen, that's awesome about the weight loss! I know you will appreciate the fact that today appears to be one of those days when the admin. seems to have no problem piling one thing after another on us. Let's just say I am really really glad that I will be in my happy place in 17 days.

Katie, don't feel like a bad mom! Think of all the great things you do for the boys -- you can be allowed to forget every now and then. What kind of cookies did you bake? Good luck cruising the job postings.

LL, I saw that you had posted something after midnight last night! When do you have to head back to work?

I just bought that book. Haven't started it yet though. I just finished Eat, Pray, Love which I adored and can't wait for her next book to come out in January. Now I'm reading Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner. I love her books, her books really make me want to write my own.

Way to go on the weight loss Jen! I'm sure you'll do fine with Disney. Are you doing the Dining plan this go-round? I've been a bad Gnomie and haven't kept up with your PTR. If so, grab your water in the morning as both of your beverages and just stick them in your bag. Blake and I didn't have much trouble at all not getting off the water kick. Plus, All the walking! And you can swim, you'll do great!

Oh gnomies, I am exhausted! I packed and cleaned all weekend with my mom. I'm working hard on my thesis this week in the lab, getting my windshield replaced because of a stupid crack I got about a year and a half ago and I don't want to take the chance of my car not passing the Virginia inspection on friday. Then I'm going down to Virginia on thursday night to see Blake for the 1st time in over 2 weeks, then spending friday (hopefully not all day) at the DMV getting my residency and vehicle changed to a Virginian. Man, I'm getting nervous about it, the big move is coming up and it's for real this time! T-minus 12 days! I miss you all!!

Flights are really cheap right now -- I was pricing flights from Atlanta to Boston and was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable they were -- maybe next October, Charles and I will come to the Boston area for our anniversary trip.

To join in with LL and CP!! Phillip and I are so in love that we take seperate vacations near our anniversary LOL!!! Two years in a row we'll be seperated on "my" anniversary LOL!!! But hey, we're seven years and counting must be doing something right LOL!!!!! I'm actually looking forward to next week when he's gone because then the house is all mine to go into crazy Disney mode LOL!!!!! I think he's glad he'll be gone to miss out on my crazy Disney mode LOL!!!
