Hiya Gnomies!

Another loooooooong day here! But good! I got a bunch of my toys and men's accessories which was cool to see it go on the shelves! And then I got home and my D23 issue had come in the mail! And now I am showered and clean and relaxing!

Jen (MM) - Congratulations to your family, especially Megan! Sounds like you have an amazingly strong and determined girl! I'm gladyou can celebrate this milestone together!

C - you succumbed to the Facebook craze! I'm glad you like it! But I still don't want it! How's the new car driving? I thought of you today while looking at the new paintings we got in housewares - there was one of people sitting at a french bistro drinking wine!

Jess - I know it's sad to clean out an office, but just think of it as the chance for a new opportunity! And I hope you have a good time with Blake and his family! At least you get to go have fun at the beach too! Congrats to Blake's sister too!

LL - sorry to hear about your appointment troubles. It is important though that they check your ticker first! About 6 years ago I was put under for a procedure and the Doc discovered that I have an arithimia. Ever since then, they know that I have to have a cardio - team member in the room when I'm under anesthesia. I would rather you be checked out and stay nice and safe and healthy! Don't worry, it will be worth it!

We are anxiously awaiting a call......we put our application in yesterday to adopt a little Bichon Frise puppy at a local rescue shelter, and now we just have to sit and wait......which is seeming like FOREVER!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for us that we hear from them soon!

Is it me or is there something wrong with it being 7:30pm on an August summer evening and I just came in to put on sweatpants and get socks b/c I'm so cold outside?! This weather is nuts. It is 72 in my house with no air conditioning. Unbelievable.

How is everyone's weekend going?

So you know how Marc and I laugh at our neighbors eating crab apples? Well for the last week or so I have begun to think that the crab apple tree is actually a "real" apple tree. Whoops. I asked Mom what she thought yesterday when she came to visit and sure enough she confirmed my suspicion, it's a real apple tree. Hehehe. Silly us.

How are the gnomies this afternoon? We've all been so quiet lately.

I am busy today cleaning my very messy house and catching up on 3+weeks of General Hospital. Good thing soap operas move so slowly- you're caught up in no time! But I've been watching since I was practically a baby and I can't stop!

I agree! Ben Affleck is adorable and I love him and Jennifer Garner. Their daughter Violet is freaking adorable!

We do have some good movies. Pearl Harbor is kept on the DVR though, I love it so much but have never had it on DVD. It is not allowed to be deleted from the DVR along with A Lot Like Love.

I hesitate to say I've never seen "A Lot Like Love." I have put it in my Netflix queue... if you love it so much that it has a permanent spot in your DVR then I should see it!

I am off to search my movie collection. I will probably end up watching Under the Tuscan Sun AGAIN. But I love that movie.

This August weather is BIZARRE.
