No word from the police but I suppose there are higher criminal priorities. I just hope that they found the culprit and part of me really hopes he or she is sitting behind bars. Although I doubt you serve time for hitting a car in the parking lot...

Happy Saturday Gnomies! Hope you're all having a better day than we all seemed to have had yesterday. I had a little meltdown at work. It wasn't prettyI was so stressed and frustrated that I walked into my manager's office and just started to cry! But I did go and see Shutter Island last night which was good! Weird but good.

C - Definately press charges. He may not go to jail but he'll likely have to pay and hopefully learn a lesson!

Jess - I hope your Grandmother is feeling better soon. And congrats on your awesome grade! I'm proud of you!

Katie -I hope your mum starts feeling more comfortable soon. And you too! I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend.

my Oct trip is 10/16-21...i think Could be 17th-21 or 16-20.... but I was toying with adding a day.... but I don't remeber ifit was the 17th or the 21st LOL!

My birthday is 10/19.... yours is early oct isn't it??

Paula!!! I started laughing like a wild woman and my family all just stopped what they were doing and stared at me!!! Tom should know there was no bottle involved....just my wacky brain! Sometimes I just have strange thoughts... My B-day is 9/24, same as Julez. I think I'll probably go for my birthday, although, last night DBFF and I were talking last night about possibly going to Disneyland instead. We haven't been there in 5 years and there's been so many changes...but likely it will be way more expensive!

well stace...I'll be there with the whole fam sept 27-oct 3.... so if you do go over your bday... and u are still there on the 27th...I def want to meet up, at least for a little bit!


My oct trip is solo... but the girls want to go for the halloween party, so I'm going twice really close. Of course I had thought that there was more than me and C going in october when i booked it, but I don't care...I've never been there for my birthday, so I think I'll keep it!

Stupid b*tch admits to being in the restaurant parking lot and turning around but "is not aware" that she hit anyone. There is damage to the back of her car that could be consistent with the damage to my car but no paint transfer. Without a witness statement (unfortunately the other customer did not leave their name - just wrote down the license plate) the officer doesn't think he can make an arrest. He does think she did it but that's not going to help me with my $500 deductible. That could have been vacation $.

He did take all her info including insurance info and it will be in the police report but not sure that will do me any good.

SO frustrated and disappointed.

If I do go over my bday, chances are I'll still be there on the 27th! I too want to go to MNSSHP so I'll have to do some pricing and see what comes up! It would be cool to have some overlap with everyone too!

Thanks for the sympathy, gals. I guess I'll have to see what, if anything, the insurance company can do tomorrow. I don't know why I'm so surprised but I just can't believe people can be so awful!

I have spent the last few hours on the DIS. I am jonesing for a trip something awful.... not sure I can make it 'til Oct. But not sure I have a choice.

please keep praying for my mom. Dad took her to the emergency room today with chest pain. she will spend the night in the hospital and they have scheduled another angiogram for tomorrow

Gnomies, I've been on the go non-stop this weekend. I'm exhausted. Marc & I have put so much work into our new apartment and no boxes have been packed yet. I am so overwhelmed. I know all the hard work will be worth it but we're spending lots of money to fix some things and I want it to look nice but I also know we'll never see a return on the money we are spending. But then again we are not anywhere close to being in a position to buy a house so it is what it is.

I do know that I can't wait to show you all before and after pictures.
