Gnomes Gnomes on the Range!

Glad you were both pleased with the mail delivery! :)

I've only been back for a week and am already ready to go back.

Hi Katie!!

Well besides the 3 piles (small) of papers I'm avoiding I'm almost done with school LOL!! I picked up an extra tutoring shift this weekend, need those extra Disney dollars LOL!!!!!!

Hope everyone else is doing well!!!!

Hello gnomies! :goodvibes

All of you teachers must be getting quite excited! I wish my job would let me off for the summer! It's hard looking out of those big store windows at the sun all summer. But, such is life....it pays the bills and takes me to Disney World!:thumbsup2

Went and saw Bridesmaids last night....it's very dirty but extremely hilarious! Not much else going on around here. Tonight I'm babysitting for a friend and then going to see the newest version of Jane Eyre! Hope you all have a lovely day!

Hi everyone! I am SO sorry for avoiding my Gnomies!! Lots going on recently. So, since I last talked to you all, Blake and I put our 2 weeks notice in, packed, moved back to Maryland, unpacked, started our new jobs and have been there as Aquatic Biologists for 1 week and I graduated with my Master's this past saturday!! It has certainly been stressful, but now I'm in the relax part I think. (Aside from our furniture still not being delivered...grrr) But I'm back!!! No more stupid work, no more Virginia, no more stupid school...I'm back to being within an hour and a half of my family, and have a much better paying job with finally full benefits. Blake and I carpool together and we're only 9 miles from work!

I have missed you all SOO much! I've briefly read that Jen came back from a trip, school has ended for Jackie, P is planning Paris and Jenn is getting ready to go on a trip with Anita? What about LL, C, Julez and Stace?? AHH..so much catching up to do.

But hope you all are well!! :thumbsup2

Hey Gnomies!!

Jess, congrats on your graduation!!! You have been so busy but I bet you are super glad you can relax now.

Happy end of the school year to all the Gnomie Teachers.

Not much new going on with me. I changed positions at work and I really like my new position. It's much less stressful which is really good. No trips planned or anything. I think the next time I will be going to Disney will be Jan. or Feb. 2013, it's a ways away but I'm okay with that. I really want to see Fantasyland all done and of course stay at the new Animation resort, the Little Mermaid section is calling to me. :rotfl2:

Have a great week everyone!!

Jess and LL live! Haven't seen you girls around here in awhile. Good thing we get to keep up through FB, lots of excitement in your lives lately!

I haven't been DISing much because if I get caught up in the Disney excitement I will want to plan a trip and I have other things I need to do this year. :rotfl: It's very hard though because I miss everyone!

Hi LL and Jess! Nice to see you around!

I understand where you're coming from LL, it's hard to Dis when you have nothing planned. That will be me after my trip in September...After that I don't think I'll have anything until 2013!

Jess, I am sooooo happy for you and Blake! It's nice that you guys are finally able to get started on things that you've been working for! I am very proud of you!:goodvibes

Happy Victoria Day Gnomies! (Even though you're all American!):)

LL, I have missed you!!! Whatcha reading these days? I just finished The Wilder Life: My Adventures in the Lost World of Little House on the Prairie by Wendy McClure. It was so good -- I couldn't put it down. Now, I am having to reread all the Little House books.

Oh my! Look at all the gnomies coming out of hiding!!!

Congrats on the new job, move, and your masters Jess!! So proud of you!!

LL!! Missed ya chickie! Glad to see ya pop in!

Jackie! Yay for school being done! Glad to see you too :goodvibes

Happy Victoria Day Stace!

Katie... 2013?? You can milk that 2 week June TR out that long lol!! Besides... I AM writing a TR for the Paris trip, and unlike you girls who have so many fans, that I'd never be able to keep up if it wasn't for the links.... I won't have any readers without you gals lol!

Hey gnomies!!!

Congrats on all the wonderful happenings in your life Jess!!!! I'm sure you are so glad to have your masters and be done with that!!! And the new job and planning a wedding!! ALL SO EXCITING!!

Good to see you Leslie!! Glad things are going so well for you!!!!!

Paula...I will definitely be at your TR I can't wait to hear all about Paris!!!

LOL I'd try and say I don't plan on going back until 2013 but yeah I'm not going to waste my breath...at this point I go when I can...much easier before kids to do that type of thing LOL!!!!

Congrats Jackie on being done with school!! WOOT WOOT!! I have to survive until Friday...I can do that right!!!!!!

Hi, all. Just checking in quickly. It's nice to see some activity on this thread. Congratulations all around on graduation, weight loss, upcoming trips and the end of the school year. Nothing exciting to report here, unfortunately. Hope everyone has a great day!!! :)

P, I'll definitely be onboard for your Paris TR!!! I'm not nearly as popular on my TR's either, that's OK since I don't commit nearly as much time to mine as these other ladies!

Congrats CP on your last day and Jen on your nearly last day! We have 9 days technically (counting today) but Wednesdays are short days, this Friday is a 1/2 day, next Thurs/Fri is final exam days and the last day is a work day so really...it's like 2 "normal" days to go :rotfl: At least that's how I'm choosing to look at it!

Don't worry at all about your TR Katie! I loved it!:goodvibes Plus at least you actually finished yours....:rolleyes1 I'm wondering if I should even bother doing one for my trip in September! I always lose steam and patience with photobucket!

I'm glad everyone is having a good time right now with school ending, new jobs, wedding planning and upcoming trips! It's so nice to hear such good things from everyone!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I just requested "The Wilder Life". You always have the best suggestions! Have you read "The Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott" by Kelly O'Connor McNees? It was SO good. It's a fiction account of a summer that Louisa May Alcott fell in love, worth the read. Have you ever read anything by Julie Klassen? I love her books. I think she has three or four out. I think my favorite is "The Girl in the Gatehouse". Other favorites I have read this year are "A Vintage Affair" by Isabel Wolff and "One Day" by David Nicholls. I should just send you the list of books that I have read this year. :rotfl2:

What else have you been reading??

I read The Paris Wife by Paula McLain -- it is the fictional account of Hemingway's first wife, Hadley, and their years in Paris. Absolutely mesmerizing. Some others that I enjoyed were The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen, Arcadia Falls by Carol Goodman, and Swept Off Her Feet by Hester Browne.

I have the new Sookie, but I haven't read it yet.

Where oh where have my gnomies gone???

Where oh where can you be?????????

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Well... at least I can amuse myself lol!

HI PAULA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :)
my computer hasn't been cooperative this week.....it needs punishment!

How are we all?

I put Discovery Of Witches on hold at the library a couple of days ago so I'm hoping it comes in soon....I just finished The Last Lecture and now I'm catching up with Sookie Stackhouse. What's everyone else been up to?

Hi all! I'm here too! We've been tackling our to-do list with the house, switching insurances, registrations, license plates, etc. But I think we are almost caught up!
Stace-I haven't read the new Sookie yet! I finally caught up on all the Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games series, so I'll have to get that one next!

So many gnomies in the world this week! Lucky girls!!
