LOL!! It was definitely a crazy situation, no one got robbed but for a brief moment thanks to an idiot I wasn't sure that we weren't going to be...I promise more details in the TR...I'll be getting that started in the next couple of days.

I'm definitely excited about next year's trip!!! I can't wait to go on my first cruise ever WOOT WOOT!!!

Good Morning my lovely Gnomies!!!! Ahhhhhh......summer!!! Time to REALLY DIS!!! I have been busy with updates for the PTR, and just realized that I hadn't been by to check in lately! SHAME ON ME! So here I am!!! I hope you all are having the most wonderful summer!

Megs had her dance recital yesterday....pictures to be uploaded on the PTR today!!! The recital itself was FABULOUS, and Megan did such an unbelievable job in it---there are no words for the pride we felt last night. But Megan had quite a chaotic morning at rehearsal--things happened that I thought she surely would not recover from--and yet, she rose above and beyond the incident to shine brighter than I could have ever imagined! I can't go into explanation, but let me just tell you, I have NEVER in my life been prouder of that girl, or more grateful that she is all mine!!!

I don't say it enough, but I love ya girlies....you are so great!

Well, I did say no more trips THIS year, which means 2011. So I'm looking at January 2012. I just realized the park hours aren't out yet so TGM isn't quite helpful yet.

I just need something positive focus on. The last couple of weeks have been rough and I just need something to distract me and be happy about. We are still in the VERY early planning stages so we shall see. I think I'm leaning towards the last week of January. I don't want to go over MKL weekend nor do I want to go before because I think the winter marathon is then. So we shall see. I'd really love to stay at Boardwalk but I don't see that happening financially, it might be good ol' Pop. Who knows. I just need some Disney magic!

LL - glad to see you missy! January 2012 sounds good! Sorry, I don't have a TGM membership but I would think January would be pretty quiet no? I'll have to live Disney through your 2012 trip since it will likely be my off year if the Europe plan finally works out!

Jen (MM) - Glad to hear meg's recital went well! I'm excited to see pictures!

Jen.... I really hope the Waffle house incident was at the becining of your trip!! I want to hear all about it... but girl... you are not known for making it past the 1st 2-3 days of a trip before we are left hanging... and hanging....

Our dance recital was this weekend too!! I was exhausted... and I didn't even dance!! Ellie had 7 costume changes (with all different hairstyles) and Allison had 4 (also with hair changes!). I may NEVER get to sit in the audience for a recital.... I can not foist that pandimonium off on anyone!

We are under the 90 day mark for Paris!! I paid off the Hotel this week.... so now all I need is lots of $$$$$$ to spend there

I also need a new bag..... ahhhh the joys of bag shopping!! I picked up a new Vera...but since I don't want to be seen as an outlandish American, I chose a microfiber from the Vera Vera Collection:

LOL so true about the TR I don't have a good track record at all!! But knowing this Anita is going to be helping along and she does have a decent record so hopefully that will help the cause LOL!!!

Blake and I were discussing our usual December trip. I really want to try a Disney cruise, but we always get so lucky with our WDW deals, and my mom hasn't been since 2002 and that trip, it rained the ENTIRE time. So, she's been asking to go for a few years now. I emailed her today to let her know the time frame and see what her vacation is like, hopefully we can schedule it for our usual week!!

Please please please Paula! DBFF and I are planning to go to Europe next fall and she has no interest in Paris....your TR could help me change her mind.... Or perhaps while you're there you could find a Parisian husband for me and I wouldn't have to worry about her for travel companionship!

So I have caught the Disney bug early. Normally I don't start planning for our december trip until around october or november and last year, not until december! But this year, Mom is on board with going with us and I happened to play around with some dining reservations just for the heck of it to see what was available and realized, while I was plugging in restaurants, that our trip fell exactly within 180 days of making ADR's.

SO.....coincidence?? Duh..I think not!!

I then proceeded to pull out the fuzzy Disney calculator, the park hours, and I spent the weekend making ADR's!!

Any gnomies read the book "The Sweetness at The Bottom Of The Pie"? I really love the premise but I can't get into it....I want to know if it's worth the wait!

Paula - I can't wait for your TR. I want to go to Paris soooooo very badly.

C - The new job is going well, I like it but I'm just ready for the next phase of my life, if that makes sense. I'm sick of an "office/desk" job. I want to do something different, maybe a bit more active. Maybe I will figure it out...someday.

Jess - I'm so glad your mom is going to go with you. That will be a nice trip for you!

I am really wanting to go to Disney in January but I just don't know if it's going to happen. We are so close to paying off our debt so I feel guilty putting money towards a trip but on the other hand, Marc and I are really going to need a vacation by then. I don't know. I keep going back and forth about it.

Thanks everyone! And Jen, I'm still working on the ADR's, I have each of them scheduled 2 or 3 times throughout the week just in case I decide to do a different park on a day other than I first intended! Wanted to grab those ADR's up when they were available!

I am really excited about mom going with us this time. I kinda feel like I want just her and me to go, but..I feel bad about not going without Blake, especially since this year, we'll point on at the Boardwalk Resort while we're there looking at holiday decorations and say, "Remember, this time last year, you proposed right here"....so I think I'll bring him along again

The only thing that's bugging me is Blake's family. You know the deal with how his family is clingy. Well, I found out that this is the year that Blake's mom has their timeshare in Orlando, and of course, Blake goes and tells them the dates that we're looking at. And his mother is all like, "let's talk, so that we can pick our week to coordinate with yours" OTTV! If they want to hang out for a dinner or something, whatever, that's fine, but I am keeping my plans to myself, as this trip is about my mom this year, not about his family following us all over the place! So take that!
