Thanks for clicking on our little (well for now!) thread! Who are these crazy gals, you may ask?? Well we are just a bunch of 20-30(something-ish) gals who met here on the DIS via the PTR/TR threads… and have become our own little family of best buddies! We all love making new friends, and are always thrilled to add more gnomies to our little bunch!

We are all quite DIS-addicted…. This is actually our 4th gnomie thread since December of 2008.… So far we have filled up just shy of 750 pages and are closing in on 10,000 gnomie thread posts! Yeah….. We are talkers! Our friendships have evolved to the point that we have to talk virtually every day- about Disney, about our families, about reality tv, about heartache, about nonsense, about books, about movies, and about anything in between. Its been wonderful finding such amazing women, best friends, and sisters RIGHT INSIDE YOUR COMPUTER!!!

LOL I'm game for that!! Visual creativity is your thing...you are not kidding! I love when you share your layouts!!!! Have you made any more recently?

Although as soon as the laundry is done in about 10 minutes I'm going to have to get to bed!! My staying up late each night is starting to catch up with me LOL!!! I have some bad habits to break now...have to leave here at 7:30 to be at my workshop UGHH!!

Have you checked out mousescrappers at all?? I know it will get you going on yours too!

The challenges usually have a participaion prize of a little goodie... like papers or an alpha or mini kit! I've added a ton to my collection of digiscrap papers/elements!

If you sign up... put me down as your reference...not that you need one, but it will help me earn a little 'virtual pin' for in my siggie

Alrighty putting it down on my calendar!! It has been awhile since we have had a gnomie chat!! By that time we should be slowing down on unpacking our friends' house so I will escape to come chat with some of my favorite ladies!!!!!

Oh they are!

There's a speed scrap tomarrow nite. It starts at 9pm ET (10CT). With those, the host gives you 1 instruction every 10 min for the 1st hour (7 total)

for example:

INSTRUCTIONS
1. FIND A TEMPLATE YOU HAVEN’T USED BEFORE AND EITHER ROTATE OR FLIP IT.
2. FILL THE TEMPLATE WITH AS MANY PHOTOS AS YOU HAVE SPOTS FOR USING PHOTOS FROM YOUR MOST RECENT DISNEY TRIP, EVENT, ETC
3. USE AN EVEN NUMBER OF PAPERS
4. CREATE A CLUSTER OF ELEMENTS NEAR ONE OF YOUR PHOTOS
5. USE AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT MICKEY ELEMENTS (PAPER, RIBBON, BUTTONS, SCATTERS, DOODLES, CLIPART, ETC)
6. ADD SOME JOURNALING TO YOUR LAYOUT, BUT DON’T JUST PUT IT IN A STRAIGHT LINE (USE A TEXT PATH, GO AROUND THE BORDER, USE JOURNALING STRIPS, ETC)
7. USE A PAPER STRIP FOR AT LEAST PART OF YOUR TITLE. ADD THE DATE , OTHER ELEMENTS, SHADOWS, ETC. UPLOAD YOUR LAYOUT TO THE GALLERY FOR SPEED SCRAP #11 AND THE THREAD IN THE FORUM BY 2:00 AM ET / 11:00 PM PT. ALSO BE SURE TO POST YOUR LAYOUT IN THE APPROPRIATE SUBJECT THREAD IN THE FORUM. IF YOU SCRAPPED A LAYOUT ABOUT MICKEY, ADD YOUR LAYOUT TO THE THREAD ABOUT MICKEY.

Then after all the instructions are up you get 3-4 hours to finish.... (tomarrow I'll be hopping in 3 hrs late!) If you follow allthe instructions and finish in time, you win a prize!

Did you see that WDW renamed the TTA???
