Thanks P! To be honest I have no idea how this DISigner thing works. I just saw that someone else asked about shirts and was told to go the creative thread. So do you sell those images or do you put them on a shirt for people? More info would be SOOO helpfull
Also, I would want the princess room... I can freak myself out enough as it is in a new environment, no need for ghosts to help.
The DISigners have many different DISigns already... and you can usually access them through their individual threads. There should be a sticky with the names and thread links for all the active DISigners. Some are very particular about how/where they want you to make your requests... but they will have all that info in the initial post of their thread.
ALL DISigns are free! They are done to help spread pixie dust for DISers trips! That said... I feel that in general, most of the DISigners are really 'abused' People routinely will ark for a DISign... +a modification + individually personallized for 10 people.... and want it ASAP since they 'just found the creative boards and are leaving on Friday'
Many of them have lots of different DISigns in their 4 shared accounts too.
Their 4 shared/ photobucket accounts are usually in their siggy
The DISigers will (usually) personalize too. There are a few that stopped doing that... but if you find something you like... I can personalize it for you, if they aren't anymore.
Once you get a DISign you want to make a tee shirt of... you save the original size to your desktop by right clicking your mouse. The you just print them out onto transfer paper (you can buy it at
walmart or any craft store like Michaels) There are 2 types of transfer paper... one for White shirts and 1 for colored. The White one... is cheaper... the empty areas are clear... but you have to 'flip' the image over if theres writing (so the words are backwards). The one for colors... (dark transfer paper) is pure white... so all the 'empty' spaces are white and you have to be careful to trim around your image carefully. But on the plus side... yo can use dark colored shirts and they do not need to be flipped.
I've made quite a few shirts... Leslie too (she gets really crafty and adds bling too!!) and Jen has done at least one. So we can all help you once you get to the printing/ironing part!!
here's a few that I did for our Nov trip
And one I made for C (and myself lol!)
