GMR And TCM

My recent trip was the first time I had dome GMR since TCM started sponsoring it.

Wow,is it just me or is GMR now the most heavily commercialized attraction in WDW history?

Eh, not imho. Yes, it's obvious the ride/attraction has a sponcer, but it's obvious on many.

You should have seen the Carousel of Progress back when it was the "GE Carousel of Progress."

If you are interested in seeing some of the classic films and certainly most of the actors featured in the GMR,
then TCM is an extremely appropriate vendor.

But, they no longer orate most of the original spiel.

Thanks. I found one of the Disney news write-ups on this... if the live-action sequences are still there..it may not be too bad. Oration of the movie information from an audio guide isn't that big a deal.

The live action stuff is still there. It's just in some of the scenes the CM's don't say anything like they did before. It's a mix of CM's talking and narration.

And the video montage at the end is way better than the old one
