Gluten free room service?

Does anyone who needs gluten free food have an experience to share about Disney room service? We're planning to stay at the Boardwalk Inn for a water parks trip this July, and I noticed that many of the Boardwalk eateries are currently shuttered. I still made ADR's for what's available, but would also like a quicker breakfast in the morning than you typically get via table service. We've never used WDW room service before. Was your experience positive, or not? My son is required to be gluten free, so any input on that aspect would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My Dad has a Gluten Free diet and when my Parents stay Deluxe he has always been able to get breakfast via room service. He's always had multiple choices too. They're currently cruising or I would ask him what he usually gets.

Which eateries other than Flying Fish (not open for breakfast) and Seashore Sweets ( not breakfast either) are shuttered? I am not aware of others. You can also get a QS breakfast at the BelleVue Room in the Lobby of the BWI. This would be quicker than a TS.
Good Luck

I wasn't only talking about breakfast. Kouzzina, a former Boardwalk restaurant, is permanently shuttered, and Flying Fish Cafe and Seashore Sweets will be shuttered while we're there. The BelleVue Lounge mostly serves gluten items, with just a few small items that my son could eat- a cup of fruit isn't going to constitute a meal for him at age 11.

Trattoria looks like a good option, while ESPN and the Brewing Works seem to have limited menus. Dining table service at the same restauarant several times during our trip doesn't sound interesting- that's why I asked about room service.

Thank you! Sounds great!

Disney has many options for those who are gluten, soy, and dairy free. My wife ate plenty well and she has all 3 allergies that I mentioned.
