? Gluten free dinning @ the darkside?

Can't seem to find info about GF dinning experiences at Universal studios has anyone had any recent experiences?

I dined at Universal Studios with celiac a few weeks ago. We walked into Finnegan's without any reservations. I was pleased to find that they were able to accommodate me. I had a chicken sandwich, which I had on a gluten free bun. They substituted mashed potatoes for the fries. The meal was very good for a last minute sit down decision.

Did you at any of the quick service places inside the parks?

No, I didn't try any quick service. I checked in with the dining reservation booth (I don't remember the official name of the booth) right inside the park and they were able to show me some menus, some which actually identified GF options. I believe she told me to just check with the supervisor at any restaurant or quick service about GF options.

Mel's has GF buns, and both the three broomsticks and thunder falls terrace have a whole bunch of naturally gf options. Im sure other places can accommodate but those are the only three I have experience with.

I'm not GF but have a number of food allergies and have had very good experiences at Uni. I tend to eat at 3 Broomsticks in IOA which has lots of naturally allergy safe options and Monsters Cafe in Uni. I can always easily talk to a chef and they are well informed and helpful. Most of the snack stands also have ingredient info and radios where they can call someone better informed if needed. If you go to one of the more basic places like a pizza place I'm not sure if they have other options/ingredients/full kitchens but the 2 quick places I go do. Pretty much anywhere that's on their stuff yourself meal plan I skip
